How can a region that has ruled as both president and vice president still be desperate to rule when there are sections that haven't even ruled for once since 1999?

These people are even more selfish than Hausa/Fulanis because while Hausa/fulani can easily rally both NW and NE and parts of NC which gives them a massive edge to perpetuate themselves in power if they want, these same desperados can't even hope to rule Nigeria without the support of others!

They are making noise for the presidency to be zoned to them which means by 2031, they would have ruled for 16 years as president and another 8 years as vice president making it a total of 24 years out of 32. In a country that has 6 regions, 3 major ethnic groups and over 250 other ethnic groups?!

Even the Hausa/Fulani won't want to be that wicked, yet you claim to be accommodators.

I want Nigerians to look beyond the surface and actually know the section or people that are actually cunningly wicked and selfish.

Nigeria has 6 geopolitical zones.
3 major ethnic groups.
Over 250 ethnic groups.

Yet a particular section that is already enjoying our collective resources invested in their region. The same region was spoon-fed in 1999 when other Nigerians unanimously accepted that the two major parties should present candidates from their region. Since 1999, this same region have ruled for 8 years as president and another 8 years as vice president.

Yet there are regions that have neither ruled as president nor vice president, but these people are so wicked and desperate that they want others to support them rule again, which means by 2031, they would have ruled for 24 years out of 32 years since 1999!!!

Does tribe matter in politics, what we need is a good leader irrespective of whatever tribe it is, someone that'll develop the country, make life better for its Citizens and so on, if you are judging by tribe only God can help the progress of this country

It is also legal for a Northerner to succeed Buhari because it isn't written anywhere in the Constitution that South must succeed North. However, every discerning person knows that an immature democracy like ours, in a country that is heterogeneous in terms of religion and ethnicities, there is need to ensure Justice and fairness to promote stability.

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. If Yorubas unanimously support that power should rotate evenly, the North would have no choice than to jettison their own ambition. However, it smacks of hypocrisy to ask another person not to contest while you does so yourself.

you are not better than the over300 tribes in Nigeria. Every man have the right to contest but you cannot force people to vote for you. Alex Ekwueme contested against Obasanjo in PDP primaries. Nobody stop him but the delegates decided who they want.
