I’m not saying he’s a bad player or trying to discredit him. The player I’m really worried about is Onuachu, a proven goalscorer but nobody is even looking towards him

I remember when Klopp took over Liverpool. One of the first things be did in his first full season was to get rid of Benteke...It wasn't that Benteke was a bad player,but he didn't have any extra skillset aside goalscoring that Klopp needed ..I actually think he is one of the laziest player I've ever watched...Was so happy when he left..

Even the north africans that have superior local leagues and quality home based players are massively recruiting Belgian, Dutch and other born players and they are improving their teams..

Soccer has changed from what prevailed in the 90s and early 2000's. It has now become a multi-billion dollar industry and in order to survive, you need to leverage all advantages you have out there. If you don't, the world will pass you by.

That's why almost all African countries have improved significantly and are getting stronger. No one is going to wait for Nigeria to develop its comatose local league, so that it is in a position to be the primary feeder of talent for the National team? Times have changed and the sooner you adapt, the better off you'll be.
