The thing pain me sha

Abi the guy no get good agent ni

20 seria goals is not an easy fit ,skill set or not dude should easily got an average club at worst

Simy has been playing in Italy for half his career.. He is no stranger to Italian football. After 20 goals in the Serie A last season, he didn't need any agent, good or bad to market him...Unless u want to say that the world didn't take notice of him..

For real!

Dude already had us forgetting about Enyeama. I'm sure it was Ikeme's impressive performances in goal that gave Oliseh the liver to dump Vincent like that.

I think so too

It maybe passion. One guy told me some days ago that most of the full breed Nigerian players will always be ready to go extra miles and even sacrifice anything for the country's success unlike the FBs that are just playing for the country for playing sake. It sounded like a nonsense to me before but I think he got a point.

I don't think it is about passion. No goalkeeper would want to concede that type of goal even on the streets.

For me uzoho should be our first choice against Ghana, maduka aka fine boy should be rooted to the bench, akpeyi out and adeleye, osigwe or the best goalie in our local league should be called and noble as no business in the national team except if aloy agu is doing some shady business wink

You must be very mad to make such statements. Leave super eagles for awoniyi and sadiq

You still dont have respect for yourself let alone others.

You lack communication skills and can't express your opinion without sounding crude and insulting

Well for your information we've got oshimen.

Ighalo does not have what the super eagles need going forward. His time has passed.... we need new generation kind of strikers that is hungry and pacy

The Ighalo I watched against cape verde is old spent

Did Finidi really have speed? I don't think so but he was extremely intelligent. It was said that if Finidi crosses the ball one of these two things will happen: the GK either catches the ball or the attacker scores. He was that good

Baba, finidi had speed... Tijani Babangida, (the fastest SE ever) had to sit in Finidi’s shadow for too much of his career..

The problem with the Eagles set of 94-2000 was underachievement. Talent wise, they were light years ahead of some of these jokers some people shout about here.

I was lucky to watch Finidi when he played for Ajax in the Dutch league. At his best he was world class, his runs off the ball, world class speed and pin point crossing were all at another level.. And he could also play in midfield (on rare occasions) . I remember AFCON 2000, the game against Morocco, he scored a heck of a goal and bossed the midfield.

That Ajax squad Finidi played at was something else.
The one below is their starting XI v AC Milan in 95..

Belgian First Division outfit KV Oostende are on the verge of announcing the signing of 2019 Nigeria U23 invitee Osaze Urhoghide who is already in Belgium ahead of his unveiling.

According to The Scotsman, KVO are poised to bolster their defensive ranks before the close of the January transfer window with the loan capture of the Nigerian center-back.

Urhoghide has found game time difficult to come by since joining Glasgow Celtic from Sheffield Wednesday, with his only first team appearance to date coming against Real Betis in the Europa League.

The 21-year-old has been included in seventeen matchday squads without him being utilized off the bench by manager Ange Postecoglou.

Italian Serie A club Hellas Verona were also interested in signing Urhoghide but he has opted to join KV Oostende.

Many clubs explored the possibility of signing him on a permanent basis but Celtic turned down the offers and have sanctioned a loan deal with KV Oostende without an option to buy at the end of the 2021-2022 season.

The Nigeria Football Federation handed a maiden call-up to Urhoghide to join a training camp before a 2019 U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Libya.

It's a wonder to me and I've pondered on it to no end. Okoye's highlights shows him making incredible one on one saves. Man comes to Nigeria and every shot at him is likely to see him picking the ball from our net. It's a mystery.

Or izzit juju? grin grin

Ogbono go still draw even when e don sour but e don sour.

Ighalo will be in the conversation not because at this stage he's got quality we can tap in the team but because we are afraid since we feel our young guns didn't do much at the AFCON.

Left for me, Ighalo should rest. I watched him against Cape Verde and he was flat.

He was flat because he was'nt the topgun.

Hahaha hahaha hahaha you are incredulous. My people, I can't believe what I just read.
Me, ke? So I suggested the 40 man list to Rohr, I helped Eguavoen pick 28 men. I then ran to Saudi Arabia and told Ighalo's club to hold him from participating in AFCON after I pulled the same stunt with Watford and Denis.

In my devilry I finally made Okoye to misjudge the ball and ooops, we were out.

"... Does it surprise me that teams want to sign Joe? Absolutely not..Nothing surprises me with Joe to be honest.

Joe has the ability to score goals, create chances and dominate a midfield. He can play in a variety of positions - I even remember him playing at left-back against Braga and scoring a goal.

“He has so much versatility that you could ask him to play anywhere on the park and he’d just get on with it.

His ability with the ball is frightening..."

What went wrong with Simy? Dude scored 20 goals for a relegation bound team only last year, is now being loaned to a Serie B team after only 5 months with his new club?

Scottish Premiership side Dundee United have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Arsenal midfielder Tim Akinola on loan.

The Nigerian-born youngster has been farmed out on loan to Dundee United in a bid to experience first team football which he cannot get at the Gunners, with the likes of Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Mohamed Elneny ahead of him in manager Mikel Arteta's pecking order of central midfielders.

Akinola is best suited to play as a defensive midfielder and can also be deployed at center-back.

The 20-year-old is in contention to make his professional debut for Dundee United in Tuesday night's derby against Dundee in the Premiership.

In the current season, he has appeared in twelve Premier League 2 squad and was named captain against West Ham United on January 14, and was also in action against Football League teams Plymouth and Ipswich Town in the Papa John's Trophy.

Akinola joined Arsenal from Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2020.

All this aribo una dey shout. My brother, it took Vic Mo one AFCON to prove his worth.

Joe couldn't cut it like Vic Mo and I sooner will hope that we are not drowning in the glorious debut game and the second one for Nigeria.

Etebo clings to the ball too much, aside from that he is just as capable as Joe. Etebo got deadly range shots too. I only hope he is fully recovered from his injury.
