Am looking for a way to organise a memorable valentine celebration in my office. We have 23 staff comprising of 13 males and 10 females.

I have thought about staff picking other staff from a pot and buy something for the person but most staff did not like such.

Please can anyone suggest a good way of celebrating this valentine in the office.

It's easy everyday is a new day..for a new day we live the way we have to..not until a particular day then you remember you have to show people love or gift people things..

The most important thing is that--"let love lead". And It'll only be an act of foolishness to celebrate valentine with a heart full of hate....

Must you do it, it seems like you have forgotten that these people have boyfriends and girlfriends outside that might get to know, then another problem starts, that's how you people will be creating unnecessary problems.....

Your office isn't ready, your suggestion is exactly how we do it in my office.

You don't need to buy something extraneously expensive. A gift of between 2 to 5k is good enough.

It depends on how much time you have..... There are games that could be enjoyed after forming two teams from your staff.


Draw a big square of about 5m, subdivide the square and blindfold one member of the team while the others guide him or her across the squares while avoiding some obstacles.

All these follow follow people self, with no knowledge of what they are celebrating, except the fact others are doing it, so I must do mine... The only thing they know is "a season of love" as the crowd usual echo. So, you have not been showing love to your workers all these while?

Why must you impose your wants on other people.

There are a lot of people who do not celebrate valentine.
Besides, its an office environment and valentine is personal. Focus on your work and leave others alone.

Do anonymous gifts. Everybody gets a gift from somebody u don’t know who it’s from. That’s probably same thing as picking somebody. Lol

Buy flower or balloon then maybe share wine and biscuit

Leave valentine for high school kids.Its their time and they have lesser things to worry about.
