ChristoBam:Very dicey. The truth of life is that talent will grant you 2nd or 3rd chances that will not be afforded to other less gifted people. His major problem is with the criminal justice system. If by some miracle he escapes them he might still have a decent to good career but likely not at Man Utd if the reports of his team mates unfollowing him are true. It is just a pure bloody mess and there are no winners to be found, just losers all around. |

GloryIsaac:I understand what you mean but the law is quite different from jungle justice, public opinion, guilt on the account of one party. |

Skimpledawg:It’s possible that they were. It’s also possible that Greenwood is guilty as hell and should rot in jail for his alleged actions. However, what’s important at the moment is to keep an open mind, let the law run its full course, and refrain from making blanket statements. This is an extremely sensitive, nuanced matter. At the moment, things don’t look good for Greenwood. But you need to hear from both side before passing any judgement of any manner. One thing’s for sure- Greenwood shouldn’t play for United this season - irrespective of the outcome of the investigation, good or bad. If he’s found guilty in the end then it’s good riddance. If not, it’s also good riddance. United shouldn’t be associated with that type of press. I’m sure the Glazers will agree to this too. |

afrodoc2:Man United is a publicly traded company, so PR matters to them, because of their share market movement. That's the only reason he won't play at the club again. He would probably move abroad after this, if he manage to scale through the mess. Probably Italy |

ChristoBam:1. I am not aware that any court finds one party guilty on the account of one party when both parties are alive. 2. Show me where I justified spousal rape. I was saying all cases are not same as there can be mitigating factors. Spousal rape which one state in the US first introduced in 1975, is not at same level with normal rape. ...... Her husband raped her. The state said it wasn't a crime. 02 June 2021 In the summer of 2017, Jenny Teeson made a horrifying discovery. Teeson, who had begun divorce proceedings from her husband of 12 years in Minnesota, was looking through files from their shared laptop when she discovered photos and videos of her husband raping her while she was unconscious. Teeson's husband had been drugging her with his prescription sleeping medication and then assaulting her — and she had no idea. All of the sudden, things started to make sense. Teeson said she remembers waking up many times in the morning feeling lethargic and disoriented but had no idea why. She had even gone to the doctor to try to figure out what was wrong. "When I found these videos, I was in utter shock, but then it all clicked. I now knew what had been happening and why I had been feeling so disoriented when I woke up. " Teeson's now ex-husband was initially charged with a felony — third degree criminal sexual conduct — but the charges were dropped the same day. Due to a legal loophole in Minnesota's law at that time, raping your incapacitated spouse was not illegal if you were married or cohabitating at the time of the offense. "If I wasn't his wife or cohabitating with him when he raped me, the felony charges would have stayed, but since I was … the state didn't consider my rapes illegal. A rapist is not always a violent stranger. It can happen to you right in your own bed," Teeson said. Teeson's ex-husband was never prosecuted for the felony rape charge due to this loophole, but he was charged with two misdemeanors — criminal sexual conduct in the fifth degree, which was later dismissed, and interfering with with privacy in the home — for which he took a plea deal and served just 29 days in jail. These legal loopholes surrounding marital rape are not uncommon. Many states have exceptions when it comes to spousal rape. Although marital rape is technically illegal in the United States, some states' archaic laws exclude situations where a spouse is unable to consent because they are incapacitated. Incredibly, even if their partner drugged them, it's not considered "forcible" and, therefore, is not a criminal offense. Aequitas, a nonprofit organization fighting for justice in gender-based violence cases, reported in 2019 that 20 U.S. jurisdictions "have spousal exemptions for offenses that criminalize sexual conduct based on the victim's lack of capacity to consent to that conduct." The legal system's continued denial of marital rape is rooted, in large part, in turn of the century marriage laws where women were viewed as their husband's property and the dangerous notion that a preexisting relationship meant irrevocable consent. While laws have changed in the past 50 years, marital rape is often still ignored. In fact, the legal definition of rape in the United States originally did not even include a spouse and was defined as nonconsensual sexual conduct with someone other than your spouse. It wasn't until 1993 that rape laws were changed in all 50 states to include a spouse, overwhelmingly due to the ongoing efforts of women's rights groups, but loopholes and spousal exceptions — like what happened to Teeson — remain. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.healthywomen.org/amp/marital-rape-2653206715 |

timay1:Yeah that is one point i also raised earlier. The Glazers will not waste time in dumping him to avid social and financial backlash. The other thing is the dysfunction in the club would be worse if he gets to share the same dressing room with team mates that dumped him like a bad habit when the going was tough for him. This is relevant only if he is not in jail however. The police most likely allowed bail without charging him cos the girl has refused to co-operate with them, which makes the job much harder for the cops. What they will be trying to do right now is gather enough evidence with which they can charge him WITHOUT the girl's help. |

BikeMan:Sorry for jumping at this but the context meant here in "dealing with women" is in sexual matters. You shouldn't have any sexual dealings with any woman who won't give you consent. It's a very simple sturvs ![]() |

If he was dominating the French Ligue 1 and struggling in the UCL, I'd be concerned but for now, he is doing well where it matters most... ![]() |

elampiro:In response to the sexual assault claim, in one part you replied,.'sebi this people are boyfriend and girlfriend'. In another part you said, 'if they were married she'll give him free access', as per sex doll wey she be. You keep saying you're not justifying but keep bringing in these weird texts. Like this one that a man got away with spousal rape due to a loophole created by an archaic law. Or texts from a Bible passage. Isn't it better you leave this conversation cuz you keep sending worrying posts. |

afrodoc2:@Your last sentence, The police will find it hard to do that part. Their only chance of doing so is from the audio clip, but it seems it wasn't much of use because they have released him without any charge yet. They probably must have listened to the whole clip, and it seems not adequate Enough for conviction. Because from that audio, it was 15 minutes long and only a snipet of 50 seconds was posted online by the lady. The 14 minutes of the remaining clip probably changed the contest of the the whole incident, during which the recording was made |

Leyqute:My question still stands; when as comfort zones being used as a criteria for determining how good a player is?..........whatever messi has done in that past 15 years has already cemented his position as the incontrovertible GOAT and this hiccup he is currently having in France is not in anyway going to dispute his true status in football. |

popizaino:Fergie did it in two League nah, he beat the mighty Real Madrid to win a European Cup with Aberdeen. An achievement that has not been repeated since he left the club like 30plus years ago. He also took minos Scotland to the quarter final of Italian 90 World Cup on short notice. Fergie has 4 European Trophies, 2 Champions League and 2 Cup winners Cup. Let me not add the Club world Cups, FA Cups etc. This is why we don't rate Pep among the likes of Fergie, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Ancelotti, the latter all won European Cups with different teams, Pep is yet do it outside Barcelona. |

The average woman already has buyer's remorse when she willingly knacks a guy and things didn't go her way and she can go to any lengths to embarrass him. popizaino:Comfort zone is used to judge all players in the GOAT conversation. Ronaldo9 played in Madrid, Inter and Barcelona. He was a beast. Pele played in Santos and New York Cosmos. He was a beast. Maradona played in Boca Jnr, Barcelona and Napoli. Babanla beast. Ronaldo7 player at Man Utd, Madrid and Juventus. Baba awon beast. Bbbut Nessi should be excused because you worship him as your lord and savior. Does that make sense to you? For a long time, Nessi has been asked to prove himself in a different league environment. The fact that he is failing now is quite telling. Adaptation and succeeding is a trait of the best of the best. And Messi doesn’t have it. |
