JohnBullMySon:That's what I had been saying, the goal was no fault of his, he even tried, but the touch was not strong enough to divert the ball completely, You can see that the ball went up when going in, after Maduka got a touch to it, out of reflex Looking at the 2nd pics, might had been a slight deflecting Ekong back leg

Must he start his apprenticeship with the Senior National team without a badge? Nepotism and sentiment at play. TheGoodJoe: |

dijon:Yobo is one of the longest serving Super Eagles player and had a long career in the English Premier league. I think he can serve as an asset to the Super Eagles while he works on getting a badge. He can gather some insights on the Super Eagles to develop his philosophy when he goes for his coaching badge. I think his experience as a professional gives him the edge. |

PurpleHouse: Twelve years is not too far and gaining experience working closely with the Nigerian footballing system will give him a good idea for a future career with the Eagles. I believe the experience so far is a good one for Joseph Yobo. |

do4luv14:I have said it before and i am still gonna say it. Okoye has been used as a convenient scapegoat for our clear failure in AFCON. Okoye is not the problem in the SE...We may not have a top GK, but he is not the reason we lost.. His point blank save on Salah being an example... Eguavoen and his shiitty tactic failed us.. |

Kog45: Everyone must not take the same route and I believe Yobo will gain valuable knowledge working directly with the coaching crew who are, remember, trained professionals. For instance, he was part of the pre, during, and post AFCON work. With what he has learned, when he is ready to do his badges, it will be okay. Yobo is a smart guy and I do not think he does not have his own plans. He has the path he wants to follow and must not follow others. He is already a Super Eagles coach and looks promising. |

charlesemeka85:When a player is on £3k a week wages , in the lower Segunda Division and has been more or less anonymous all his time there. Why would anybody pay £500k for a player who is not going to get his contract renewed and will be free agent in a few months. Add to that his so called quality is very dubious. Currently, he may end up not playing on for Huesca who tried to offload him to another club. His club who don't rate him, want to get rid. |

elyte89:My broda, you dey mind those nuisance?? Maduka had all the time to adjust himself for that ball! Not the Tunisia had an instant shot to the post but he delayed to put himself in a better position; He had two defenders on him(Ndidi & Aina) before he squared them off and positioned himself for that shot! What was he doing prior to that shot OUTSIDE 18YARD BOX FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!! Even Ndidi was amazed and asking him how come? (Go and rewatch that game and see Ndidi had gestures) Had he been saving a lot of shots since the beginning of the match, that would be understandable. First shot on him, enter post. That was the same Keeper against Sierra Leone who allowed in 4goals at a go! Some folks who never kick ball for their life will come here and be arguing rubbish! |

Contrary to the jokes about Kelechi Nwakali, it raises my respect for the young man. He took a massive pay cut to rebuild his career. That shows someone ready to build again from scratch. I pray that the young man keeps working hard. God will bless his hustle. |

TheSuperNerd: Men, that is heavy. Coming from Spaletti, that is huge. Spaletti is talking of changing their system to suit Osimhen. That is, more of the passing game. That is interesting and Inzaghi needs to strap his seat belt because it is about to get ugly. |

TheSuperNerd:Osimhen topped the list of the players with the most completed dribbles. Is the coach saying Osimhen should be served the ball in positions and circumstances where the need to dribble his opponents will be less? |

TheGoodJoe:When you say somebody took a massive pay cut. It implies that somebody offered him a lot more money and he refused it and took much less. You like to turn white to black and daylight to darkness with your misrepresentation. Nwakali Arsenal contract expired and NOBODY wanted him after several loan moves. He wasn't good enough for Arsenal, not even after two years in lower Eerste Divisie, NOBODY offered him anything. He even descended to playing Porto B they did not want him. He eventually went to Huesca for more or less nothing and was given to the second to the last lowest pay in the club. On arrival Huesca found him wanting and sent him on loan before bringing him back to the team where he had been largely anonymous. He is facing an sanction for going AWOL after the AFCON. So what are you actually admiring ❓ Mediocrity , because he did not be take a pay cut. He is taking the best he can get. |

komekn: I admire someone who doesn't care how lowly he fell. He is ready to work his way up. So no matter how lyrical you wax about how low he has fallen, the bright young man is ready to work his way up. He could go to China or some Arab team and earn decent wages but he still has faith that he can work hard and make it. I am proud of him and falling is part of life. Picking yourself up is a sign of greatness. |
