The same Egypt we beat and same Tunisia we showed shege with a man down.
Showed shege? Bros we had just 1 shot on target compared to the 3 they had. Simon and Chuks were kept im their pocket .. Our midfielders couldn't move the ball like they used to.

Eguavoen made the Tunisians look like prime Stoke City.

They had 7 chances we had thirteen. That is players missing target. The discussion is about attention to detail.

We were better with a man down. How can someone praise them as paying more attention to detail.

I have said it before and i am still gonna say it. Okoye has been used as a convenient scapegoat for our clear failure in AFCON.

Okoye is not the problem in the SE...We may not have a top GK, but he is not the reason we lost.. His point blank save on Salah being an example...

Eguavoen and his shiitty tactic failed us..
My friend you can never win tournament with top quality saves. We aren’t just blaming Okoye for not saving that routine ball but prior to Tunisia match, he hasn’t shown that he deserves that Numero uno shirt. The man is basically using super eagles to gain experience and that’s very risky. The normal protocol was to prove himself at cadet level I.e U23, and progress to the SE

This is why I respect my good friend Seyi Olofinjana,it is always good to be a university graduate as a professional player, especially from Africa, the knowledge will never be wasted after one retired from football.Imagine Seyi that was playing for Kwara United when Yobo was already a big hit in Belgian league with standard leige is a sport director with European club and Yobo instead of going for more knowledge about the game he is busy lobbying for NFF job.

Checkout well schooled ex players like Mike Emenalo a boston university graduate,Adokiye Aimeasemeka former Attorney general,Segun Odegbami an Egnr.,Jonathan Akpoborie buffalo university graduate,Felix Owolabi who is a PhD holder, even most ex NPFL who are graduates don't lobby for NFF jobs.

Joseph Yobo is still very young and with his rich experience as a player I expect him to go back to real coaching school to learn more about football tactics or administration.
You expect him? This is presumptuous thinking ooo like do you know his ambition or desire?

Crossing the ball is not Ejuke's preferred style of play. He made zero crosses of the ball in the course of the minutes he got at the AFCON.
Dude is for the inverted role of a winger.

He is a playmaker that loves to shoot at goal.

Surprisingnly his long balls are precise.

My people have a proverb that says when it's on another man, it is like it is on a stick.

Meaning that we give ourselves the pass and come down hard on other people

Contrary to the jokes about Kelechi Nwakali, it raises my respect for the young man. He took a massive pay cut to rebuild his career. That shows someone ready to build again from scratch.

I pray and the young man keeps working hard. God will bless his hustle.
Amen.

My broda, you dey mind those nuisance??
Maduka had all the time to adjust himself for that ball! Not the Tunisia had an instant shot to the post but he delayed to put himself in a better position; He had two defenders on him(Ndidi & Aina) before he squared them off and positioned himself for that shot! What was he doing prior to that shot OUTSIDE 18YARD BOX FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!!
Even Ndidi was amazed and asking him how come? (Go and rewatch that game and see Ndidi had gestures)
Had he been saving a lot of shots since the beginning of the match, that would be understandable. First shot on him, enter post. That was the same Keeper against Sierra Leone who allowed in 4goals at a go!
Some folks who never kick ball for their life will come here and be arguing rubbish!
Not just first shot, up to that moment the only shot. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was like I was hallucinating.

Goals, one sees them coming, you sense them and psychologically prepare yourself but this one came totally out of the blues. My mouth dry

Its either your depth of reasoning is low or you just wanted to raise a dust where there is none.

If you understand me then you'll get my point.

You think it is a stroll in the pack to get a badge? Or you think its everyone who loves the classroom? People can't even read long post here on nairaland or Facebook. If thats not laziness then what is it?

I mentioned other factors, or you didn't see that too?

I admire someone who doesn't care how lowly he fell. He is ready to work his way up. So no matter how lyrical you was about how low he has fallen, the bright young man is ready to work his way up.

He could go to China or some Arab team and earn decent wages but he still has faith that he can work hard and make it.

I am proud of him and falling is part of life. Picking yourself up is a sign of greatness.
All I can see here is someone romancing indiscipline.

The Nwankalis are the genesis of their own downfall.

Fact, we were the better side. That is all. We were better. They were fortunate.

He is saying the the supporting cast to Osimhen should cut down on unnecessary dribbles and rather look to quickly feed him and only dribble with purpose rather than allow the opponents' defenders have all the time in the world to defend against Osimhen.

In other words, Spalletti wants his MFs and wingers to play in a manner that puts Osimhen at huge advantage over his markers and not at a disadvantage so that he can do what he does and finish the job upfront.

Meliforme:
Osimhen topped the list of the players with the most completed dribbles.
Is the coach saying Osimhen should be served the ball in positions and circumstances where the need to dribble his opponents will be less?

I mentioned other factors there. You nor see those ones too? undecided undecided

Osimhen makes dashing runs to space behind the defence. That is his game. Spaletti wants the team to focus on feeding Osimhen.

Spaletti will not want the players focusing on dribbling when there is a chance to pass to a space Osimhen is attacking.
