Nobody get hack on how to boost drivers score. You mean, everyone has been moving Lagos with all trips.

Cos the way dis driver score was programmed, they want you to do at least 90% of trips. After taking 25%,..... walahi, embarassed Bolt is crazy.

The only available hack for now is don't download, or if you have, find someone with the old app to send to you via sender

Even if u don't download new version, after some months the old app will stop working. So you have to adjust and adapt to the changes. That's the only way forward

.
You can boost your driver score by completing aleast 80% of your trip
You can pick someone going to farmcity or FO along admiralty, and when you get to GTB the rider tells you to end the trip there, that the person he or she is going to see is now at GTB. The app will show that you didn't complete the trip.

I got about 5 of such today.

After how many months? Heard they will soon update drivers on the ending date of the old app.

Quote this comment.....this will actually bring problem to bolt!

If rider cancel, your score will reduce! How can you reconcile this? Got a request from sabo to VI. I rushed quickly to get there cos it was just 3 mins to PU and the rider cancelled before I got there. Then my score will reduce because of that. Is that not crazy!?

Meanwhile around 4:30pm, I was at Lekki phase 1 and a trip going to Aja came. It showed 25 mins to get to rider. She was at the other side, as if you're going to Aja. I called and explained to her. She refused to cancel. I obviously can't drive 25 mins there, just to wait for 5 mins and cancel.

Just watch how a lot of drivers will be booted out and it will in turn affect bolt.

Dem no reason this one well at all. My plan B dey on the way though, just in case.

so the question is what is your main hustle?

Whatever takes more of your time, is your main hustle.
Most civil servants makes more money from their side hustle than their salary.
So a job that gives free healthcare for me and my family, millions of Naira in PFA account, easy access to loan, easy recognition with my ID, easy access to visa, possibility of official travels and claims, etc, suddenly becomes my side hustle just because I don't work more than eight hours a week and can drive twenty hours on Uber?

Ehailing will forever remain a side hustle for everyone that do it, both employed and unemployed. It's not structured to offer you growth and breakthrough solely depending on it. The earlier everyone recognizes it and find a permanent place of abode, the better.

No be small thing. I have not been active on the app for a while though. Indriver has been bridging the gaps, even though the app has its own issue too.

Whom the Gods want to kill, they first make mad.
That's how Uber started with unfavorable policies now Bolt is copying nonsense.
Anyone that tries to take away the independence that drivers should have will suffer for it.
U can't force drivers to accept and complete 90% of the trips they get. Worse still, if rider cancels, driver still gets punished.
If there is no way around it, no be person go tell them to change. I haven't updated the App yet, so till then.

To Bolt Reps and Agents...reading this. I know this is done for Riders to have a better experience on the App. But u have to put the drivers in the center of all your decisions and policies.
What I think u should do if u must enforce this policy is
1. Make minimum fare to be at least N800.
2. U know d unfavourable trips in Lagos, so when someone is going to outskirts of town just make d fare automatically to be minimum X1.5 more than the current price (surge or no surge) To compensate for d many disadvantages of taking such trips. Even the Riders themselves know this is only logical and fair, that's why they accept offline fares when driver proposes it.
This I think will entice or encourage drivers to take all sorts of trips whether to Agbara, Ijegun, Satellite town, Ajegunle, Oke Aro, Agbado or to Ikorodu, Mowe/Ibafo, Eputu, Ibeju, Epe, etc axis.

If this policy is sustained and drivers begin to get blocked...
1. You will run short of drivers cos quit frankly alot of drivers will get blocked.
2. You will go into extinction when d remaining drivers abandon ur App, leaving you with drivers who have no other choice.
3. We may fight for our rights as partners and Independent contractors and disrupt d business.

Don't forget how u started, don't think u r Indispensable, There are ehailing Apps on the fringes just waiting for you to slip up

Uber of those days, how the mighty are fallen.

Can't believe it's the same Uber wooing drivers now by giving 2% after 8 trips. They lost so many drivers to Bolt over the years...

Bolt is also towing the same path. I always say it, when you develop a policy, bring all the stakeholders on board, don't just do "top to bottom approach".

What works in other climes might not work in another locality (due to factors like, cultural differences, customs, norms and values, belief systems)

You can't sit in air conditioned offices and force drivers to accept all trips, we are not your employees, ( you don't pay me salaries, leave bonuses, sick leave, pension or gratuity)
we are partners, after 25%, you can't just force anything down my throat.

Someone like me will not even last two days with this new policy. Chai.

Bolt abeg o, make una go back to the drawing board and reason this matter well.

Meanwhile I mistakenly deleted my Bolt Driver App on Sunday, I thought the worst had happened only for me to download the app back from PlayStore and I still have the old rating system tongue

Seems they are still rolling out the Driver score ish in batches. They might eventually forego it if it doesn't turn out well.

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by GeneralZodd(m):
Good morning guys

Have u all filled up your thank lately, the lingering fuel scarcity could be long-term, the way I am seeing it.

Remember Federal Government said they will remove subsidy in February which they later postponed it. I heard from someone that they want to create artificial scarcity first to make Nigerians buy fuel at expensive price and get use to it, before they remove subsidy this year.

Another info coming from an impeccable source in NNPC said, the recently imported petroleum products in the country is contaminated with sulphur which could damage Car Engine, Federal Government had to suspend the sale of Petrol.

I spoke with one Tanker Driver, he told me it is a supply issue from the Marketers, that it would soon be resolve.

From all the info I got so far, i think FG is trying to run Nigerians street. They want to gradually remove subsidy. they know if they announce it, there would be massive protest.

So Make we prepare ahead of what is to come. A new pump price of ₦340/per litre of fuel might soon be effected.
