Good morning guys

Have u all filled up your thank lately, the lingering fuel scarcity could be long-term, the way I am seeing it.

Remember Federal Government said they will remove subsidy in February which they later postponed it. I heard from someone that they want to create artificial scarcity first to make Nigerians buy fuel at expensive price and get use to it, before they remove subsidy this year.

Another info coming from an impeccable source in NNPC said, the recently imported petroleum products in the country is contaminated with sulphur which could damage Car Engine, Federal Government had to suspend the sale of Petrol.

I spoke with one Tanker Driver, he told me it is a supply issue from the Marketers, that it would soon be resolve.

From all the info I got so far, i think FG is trying to run Nigerians street. They want to gradually remove subsidy. they know if they announce it, there would be massive protest.

So Make we prepare ahead of what is to come. A new pump price of ₦340/per litre of fuel might soon be effected.
.
Lolz... 1 post, 3 different stories. Say No to rumours. FG already suspended fuel increment because of elections. It's now d headache of the new government, so till next year after d elections, there is no plan to increase fuel price.

Boss na contract una they run, if the terms and conditions are not favourable, move to the next. Bolt have been sending me different mail to come back, but I find home with indriver. Once they start acting up #WeMoove
With indriver model you can truly consider yourself as an independent contractor, there are no consequences for rejecting unfavorable bids from your pax. You can also quote the price you are willing to do the job Uber/bolt want us to he their employees without enjoying any form of employment benefits. This is just exploitation, this is simply the most crude and savage form of capitalism.

There is also a rumor that the federal government is broke if true then the govt may have no choice but to increase the price of fuel. The CBN cannot print dollars the way they are just printing Naira, according to Governor Obaseki fx is needed to bring in fuel, Nigeria economy has been on life support for quite sometime. Once our foreign creditors refuse to grant us more loans game over.... it does not make sense to be borrowing foreign loans to pay for fuel subsidies it is no longer sustainable.

Federal Government is broke!!! that's a fact.
We sell Crude oil and earn in FX. All of the PMS import deals are trade exchanges, crude oil for PMS. D level of corruption is on scale 20 out of 10. That's why we keep crying there isn't enough money. Did anybody ask who collects the other products along the refining value chain or the money gotten from it's sales? Scientists in the house will tell u how many products u can get refining crude oil.
We are just catching cruise in this country...on paper we produce 2million barrels per day so let's do small maths. 2million bbl X 365days X $80/barrel X N500/dollar abeg how much is this cos my calculator cannot take it grin And we r claiming we don't have money. Politicians are chopping us front, back, left and right...and we will still be doing sai Buh*ri and Jagaban for life. Make we continue to allow them deceive us.

Lolz ... God forbid, u get PVC? U dey vote?? I have never voted for c*w.
Trust which govt, It's not a matter of trust, it's just what it is. They will not be foolish as to increase fuel price close to election period... They cherish their stomach more than d well being of the nation. Why didn't they cancel it since 2015 shebi they where shouting there is nothing like subsidy when they were campaigning. When they entered government they saw how sweet easy billions of dollars was entering their accounts. People that where selling recharge card and doing phone charging booth all of a sudden now own private jets. Biko make we no derail Uber/Bolt thread.

So a job that gives free healthcare for me and my family, millions of Naira in PFA account, easy access to loan, easy recognition with my ID, easy access to visa, possibility of official travels and claims, etc, suddenly becomes my side hustle just because I don't work more than eight hours a week and can drive twenty hours on Uber?

Ehailing will forever remain a side hustle for everyone that do it, both employed and unemployed. It's not structured to offer you growth and breakthrough solely depending on it. The earlier everyone recognizes it and find a permanent place of abode, the better.

Good day, I had an account with bolt two years ago that was blocked. Right now the account can not be found on the system. I have been trying to open another one for the past two weeks but no luck despite passing all necessary courses. It just keeps saying I should go for driver training and activation. Will going to the office help? Or is there another way?

The queue on island is mad compare to mainland, but since there's no base or flimsy reason for this scarcity, I don't think* it's going to drag for long.

I think I like this new path Bolt is trending because I really tired of their nonsense in addressing issues.
I just pray they stick to this new rule so that they'll die a natural death in few months to come so that Uber and any other app company can take over the market.

The order night I was at ajah, Thomas Est precisely and a guy was just cancelling his request to ikeja like he was aiming for something... 8 good times this guy requested and cancelled. the most annoying thing was that b4 I could get his contact he would've cancelled, 8 good times b4 he requested with another account and I still got it that was when I was able to call him and insulted his generation... Stupid boy!
So if I was having this new updated version of the Bolt app it therefore means my account would have been blocked just because one juvenile delinquent decides to toy with the app right? Nonsense!!

I've been doing more of Uber since December so I only make use of Bolt for set destination to PU my offline riders, coming back home and going to my mechanic and this is the way I actually started self with ehailing when i joined. So if Bolt likes let them kukuma block all my accounts na them sabi... na me dey pay them so why should they dictate to me?

B4 they shift the penalty of a rider cancelling over to a driver did they charge the rider for cancelling? What kind of brain tumor has Uche had?

I pity for them shall.

Can imagine Uchenis busy sending me message if how I've 25% bonus for my next 5rides yet no bonus has been given to me to drive since January even after the 25% hike in commission.

Indriver self their own dey their body... After making a trip yesterday on their app for my client as my serpentine belt and power steering pump disappointed in lekki they drop this hint to me for my next ride.
I then begin to wonder why most of their riders never ever want to increase their fare offer. Stupid apps

if drivers can be u united and boycott this apps especially this useless bolt new policy for one week aswear they will loose millions and maybe by then they will know their livelihood is in drivers hand.. just imagine for the ant drivers that can makes 200K in a week bolt will take a whooping 50K as commission now tell me if those drivers can boycott the app do u know how many millions they will loose that week? By the time they can't pay rent in lekki and pay staffs again just maybe thier senses will bounce back.. some people will come here and say is not by force to drive , bolt is not forcing anyone bla bla , agreed but this is called partnership, they gave me app and i make money for them I do a trip of 1,000 naira they takes 250 am left with 750 if I deduct fuel on dat trip and cost of maintenance how much do i hv left for mysef as if that was not enough now conditioning drivers to take all trips, I hv same issue one day a stupid guy request came in and I was already driving to pu voom he cancelled I was like hahaaa because i was like 2 mins away , he kept requesting and canceling in my mind I was like shay this person requesting know me b4 ni and doesn't wants me to come pick him grin grin..I left uber since November but now am ready to come back and abandon bolt for now till dey hv sense uber and indriver combo for now

probably because they have the adulterated one that's currently in circulation.

Here's the basis: one billion litres of adulterated fuel was imported in the past month or so, by the usual suspects. It has only just begun to show up in the pumps and vehicles are being damaged by it. So retail marketers i.e. fuel stations are refusing to load it from the depots, because they know once word gets round their fuel has water inside they wont be able to sell...this scarcity might last for much longer than you imagine.
