It's funny some people are still thinking the way Rohr thought when he pannicked and recalled Ighalo in the first place. We didn't exit the AFCON, or have poor results in WCQ because of player personnel. It was POOR COACHING AND TACTICS in both. How hard is it for people to see the obvious. |

We haven't been talking alot about eagles forwarders since forever. I think the earlier we start discussing eagles defence and goal keeping the better. |

Joezinho:Awoniyi hasn't scored a normal goal in Eguavoen's team so he should be benched.. Nacho doesn't track back and this weakens the midfield and defense. Onuachu needs crosses, he doesn't press and plays sluggishly.. Osimhen, Dessers, Dennis, ademola lookman, Samuel adegbenro, terem moffi, David okereke, Umar sadiq should be the strikers.. |

drDoom3:The current AFCON Golden boot winner plays in the same league as Ighalo the only difference Ighalo has scored more goals than Aboubakar. Food for thought to the objective. Sadiq is an embarrassment to the SE and cannot even clean Ighalo boots. He is tall without aerial be domination has no Physicality and keeps fallling be down for no apparent reason, always diving . Osimhen is faster than Ighalo that's all NOTHING else is he clearly better than Ighalo at. When it comes to Physicality and hold up play as well as technical play Ighalo is superior. Dessers is not on Ighalo level, 17 games and 4 goals in the Eredivisie this season is not outstanding. Awoniyi is just starting not better than Ighalo, Onuachu is a good proposition but he is not better than Ighalo. There is no Favouritism for Ighalo rather unjustified discrimination. |

joelsteron:Nigeria needs goalscorers... As long as no goalkeeping mistakes happen from the goalkeepers and maduka Okoye is benched or not invited at all then we will be okay.. If Okoye starts then S.E is in trouble.. |

joelsteron:The defence that conceded only 1 goal from open play? We have a defence for our wcq tie abeg. It remains this goal keeper stuff. Since WC proper is December, we have to start looking for what to do |

Joezinho:No be me Na una coach go call am ok ,I am just going by the coaching crew ,osimhen remains our first choice striker If we are to judge all players by their bad game then the national team will be empty ,so this your ighalo Cape Verde talk is boring ,say something else ,or maybe you don’t know better Na only you go yab awoniyi umar Sadiq ,then who do you want to please you ? Abi are you not among the people insulting Awoniyi and umar at the afcon when I was here defending both of them . |

We have good strikers. But how do they expect our strikers to score when they are getting no service? Simon and Chukwueze were losing themselves in culdesacs. Simon despite his so called "great performance" against Egypt did not register a single key pass. See how Cameroon and Senegal wingers did justice to crosses. Our team was let down by coaching and tactics. Until you understand that, no striker is going to change anything for us. Even Osimhen struggled in Rohr's last 3 or 4 games. The problem IS NOT the strikers.. |

Ekong not in match day squad. He was listed though in the last game on the bench, I hope Hodgson isn't trying to demote him from the first team. Of course Dennis starts and Kalu makes the bench. I don't think Lamps cares about Iwobi. It's looking more and more like Lamps prefers other players. So Iwobi is sitting on the bench today alongside Alli and Van De Beek. I can only wish Alex the best |

andrewbaba44:Mr. Voltron, Officer Andrew go sidon joor. Always looking for who to accuse ![]() So what do you think is going on with Ekong? Lamps not caring shouldn't be taken literally sir. I just think his days on the bench are not yet numbered. You know some coaches come and benched players get to start playing, gerrit? So it doesn't look like anything is changing for Alex under Lamps. |

Funny enough..I will excuse Simon,Nacho,Onyekuru(sadly), Awoniyi against Ghana. Dennis,Ighalo and Osimehn should be brought back. Etebo and Kalu? That depends on what happens before March. Balogun should stay back abeg... Ajayi is important for this match...one, in case Ghana wan do long balls..bring him in. Two, his aerial threat will be needed offensively but wait, who will cross the ball? Chai! May God epp us |

TFLASHOGEE:No.... remember when he indirectly threw a jab at Carlo then about getting to play in his favorite position. Iwobi is better playing through the middle... |

mostob:but Carlo did him a favour by playing him there after coming back from that international break because James was injured then but iwobi still didn't give him the type of performance he expected and he threw him back to the wing's ![]() |
