Is he trying to tell them to step down for one particular candidate or is he trying to intimate them of his preferred candidate in the meeting?

Methinks the president(cy) should be focused on ensuring that:

1. Ticket goes to the south for purpose of equity
2. That he does not impose one person over others

If the ticket must go South for equity sake, does it not mean then that it should go to the South East? SS and SW have both had their turns and SE should too. And if this is such a bad idea, then those insisting it should be given to the South and further micro given to Tinubu are smoking something stronger than Ijebu weed. It’s either SE or we should all stop talking about rotation for the upcoming election. There is no way go chop your cake finish and still get am.

This your postulation is warped. If you think Tinubu will be Alpha and the Omega of everything, you're in for a big surprises when this north politicians start their abracadabra. Northerners are much sophisticated in politics than your inner matter can comprehend. Jonathan wasn't a politician but the North rally round him in 2011 and he won his election but lost out in 2015 due to National Revolution through vote cast. If his performance in office had been exceptional, he would have won his reelection but he failed in key areas that the opposition capitalized on. As it were today, Tinubu doesn't even control the whole South West. He's not having good outing with Ekiti, in Ondo and Oyo. He can only whistle to politicians from Lagos and Osun and probably Ogun.
As at today the sensible youths of this Nation is yarning for a paradigm shift of handing the Nation to a technocrat and not a season politician like Tinubu. The politicians have toiled with every aspect of the Nation and had bastardized them, with that we need intellectual technocrats to manage the system of Nigeria.

APC can only win election in the brains of biafools withot the SW. Buhari contested thrice and he lost until SW came to his rescue. He himself knows that PDP can take over power if they mess it up in APC. Any annointed candidate in APC without the SW will lose gallantly because we know that SE and SS will not vote for the APC.

Obviously some of you have chicken brains because you wnet to school but you were never educated. You dont have to pay people's school fees before being their benefactor. Only biafools will deny the fact that without Tinubu, Buhari would have lost again 4th time as GEJ would have won. I can tell you that if APC picks its presidential candidate from other region apart from the SW, then that is the end of that party because it was SW that ensured Buhari victory in 2015. We know that SE and SS are lovers of PDP even if they give them just the VP, they will not vote for APC and how can a candidate will lose the SW, SE and SS and still be president. It is impossible! They will all cry if they make any mistake of playing with the SW
