Lekiboboe:Thank you for your response. With huge consideration to the lesser tuition from NBCC, and the fact that the 2years program are due for January 2023, can I confirm how one can best leverage a 1 year PGWP to PR? |

After successfully raising a webform. You'll see a message stating that you should give them 30 days to get back to you. If they don't that's your cue. Calmdancer21: |

Even lawyers wouldn't advise you to go for a program that only guarantees 1 year PGWP. Everyone's goal is different. Some just want to get the canada. Whatever happens afterwards doesn't concern them while some want to benefit as well by gaining status. PR/Citizenship. If your goal is the latter, A 1 year program shouldn't even be on your radar. Get it right. There's nothing to leverage with a one year PGWP. No need for me to even explicate further. autolearner: |

[quote author=technix post=110085367]He needs a four-month statement of account. He doesn't need to transfer any money to your account yet. Just mention in your LOE that he is your sponsor. He should also write a letter that he is sponsoring you. Then attach your marriage certificate. As an extra, if you have kids, you may attach their birth certificates since they contain your name and your husband's. [ [Thank you very much. What about my statement of account? How many months am I to submit? ] |

Wesay01:Even a police man is not expected to choose yes, how much more you that attended police secondary school. For your info, police is civilian. Military is Army, Navy and Airforce. Any organization outside these three are civilians. Putting on uniforms and bearing arms does not qualify one as military. |

The bolded is how you handle it. You need to get your notes and refire. Tidy up loose ends as highlighted by the officer and reapply. If you feel the reasons for refusal are arbitrary. You could JR if you'd like to because alot of people are refused without reason these days. Biggman: |

Pls be strong and hopeful, this is delay and not denial. Ensure you raise your GCM note today, it takes 30days to get it. The earlier you raise it, the faster. Pls kindly clarify... when did you submit your application? And how long it took them to give this feedback? Biggman: |

dikadubai:Aviod one year programs if you want easy 2-3 PGWP. Going from one program to another is not easy and doing two unrelated courses is definitely not good for your profile. Now, about the programs you mentioned at UofC. UofC is a great school, but some of those programs are not lucrative or competitive. For myself, I will aviod any education program in project management. Project management is industry related and approach might vary per industry or technical experience. A person with a 2 year diploma and 4 years of construction experience will get a construction-related project management job before someone with a project management degree and zero construction experience. I don't know much about the digital marketing field, but it sounds like an ordinary buzzword to me. With my 4+ years experience in Canada, I will definitely not invest my money and time in such program. The final one, business analytics is definitely interesting and there are a lot of jobs currently in that field. I may do that but it might not be a good choice for you. You see my options are related to my experience and needs, but not yours. So you will have to ask yourself what you want. However, if you were my brother, I will encourage you do go for SAIT program i recommended because it is cheaper in total (35k+ tuition for the two years), related to your OND, and have a one year internship (usually full time paid and exeprience in canada is more valuable than schooling). The program also get you a bachelors degree. A degree is usually the minimum requirement for most senior level positions in canada. When you get to that stage, having a diploma and post diploma might not cut it. I am a university of calgary alumni, but I will choose that SAIT program before any of the UofC program you mentioned based on the points I mentioned. About student visa, no program or person can guarantee it. However, a higher education program compared to applicant last education improves its chances. In your case, a bachelor's degree is higher than ordinary diploma. A PGC/D is also higher than ordinary diploma. So the choice is yours. All the best. |

Omiinii:Many people don't understand the impact. They just want to japa. I know an international student currently struggling on what to do next. He came September 2021 for a one year program. On arrival, he found out that the program will end May 2022 because there is no break in between. He doesn't know what to do next or how he will be able to pay the next program year if he can't work summer and has to do another course in September. People should save themselves this kind of stress and go for atleast 1.5 years program. Two year programs (starting in winter) are the best if you plan to work summers. It will get you two summer breaks that you can work full time. Make sure to confirm the program goes on break during summer period. |

Let me add the attached to support your statement. A case that was taken to federal court and that what was the DOJs take on the case. People need to understand it's not rosy at all and you need to plan things ahead even before entering canada if you want things to be easy for you. Osemigho:
