Check your DS160 confirmation page and see the date the form was filled. If it’s earlier than August 2021, then fill a new one so as to update your travel plans. A new DS160 number will be generated, this should be inputted in your Interview date appointment portal via the “update profile” option…

My appointment was for 8am this morning. Got here 7:35 and I’m done . It was easy peasy. You get into that first check point area where there are lots of chairs and they check your old visa, receipt, appointment confirmation and Ds 160 confirmation page. They collect your passport or passports and your passport photo only and tell you have a nice day. That’s all.

I forgot i used a different email for my login and i tried the wrong one twice by the time i put in the correct one i got a message that i have been suspended for 72 hours because of suspicious activity. After March i will no longer be eligible for IW. I have been checking for dates all week and nothing pops up. Tried all advice gotten on the page, nothing, now i am on suspension�. I really hope i get a date when my account is back up.

If you used a wrong email previously, then you should not be suspended on your correct email since the attempts were with the wrong email. Or do you mean you used a wrong password?

Check again after 30hours or so, they will unlock it. Just be patient don't be tempted to click. Write down your password somewhere. I checked last night and this morning, there are no dates so you have not lost anything.

We are all reacting to the email from the consulate…you can err on the caution by filling a new form if it’s over 6 months…

Once again the US Mission has put out a tweet telling Nigerians to stop booking interview waiver appointments when their visas expired more than 24 months ago, our people are the problem. They said, "A significant number of people have booked appointments each day even though their visas expired more than 24 months ago." This is the second time they have tweeted about this.

It wouldn't be so difficult if people just followed instructions.

Read this too yesterday. I'm sure some are doing it based on "if I get there they can't possibly send me back anyways" but it's okay that they are turned back. I'm just hoping they don't stop this process soon.

In other words, I can send someone to do this IW process for me right? Cos I don’t live in Lagos.
