mrvitalis: But your fellow SE people are campaigning for them and you say you don't need the presidency. No wahala. Make we no hear any complain again about no president from the SE. You guys said you don't need it, allow other regions who need it to continue producing the president. 1 Like |

maestroferddi: It is you who is misguided. To you, a person who raises his observations or make some predictions of possible outcomes for the future based on what he has observed in the present is misguided? If you have read the OP and you feel or think otherwise, education requires you to provide your own arguments on why you think these possibilities would not be realistic. That's what an intellectual discourse entails and intelligent people do and not resorting to name calling which does not achieve any meaningful agenda other than to derail the thread and discourage others from giving intelligent arguments for or against the possibilities I have raised here. This is my last reply to you. Shalom. |

Missionaire:We don't need it ... doesn't mean politicians won't fight for what they believe is their turn What have you benefited from politics Igbo land is not a place where politicians are the richest ...no governor in Igbo land is the richest in his town not to talk about LGA |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 3:25pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
mrvitalis: Politics enable people to be involved in governance. How do you achieve your political, economic and industrial needs when you don't have people representing you in politics that can help make this happen? As long as you don't involve yourself in the politics of your state or nation, you automatically allow others who may not have your best interests at heart to become your political leaders. |

Missionaire:You don't play politics with people who are not in the same level with you We are capitalist and you guys are socialist ...we are just waiting for you to explode while we milk you dry |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 3:37pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
mrvitalis: Okay... But your people are scattered all over other regions. It seems Your Own region does not deserve your capitalistic development. Well, keep waiting for us to explode so you can milk us dry. Let me tell you what will happen. Your people will not get the 2023 Presidency. After the elections, you will resume your usual rants and name calling. When it is like a year to election time, you will suddenly become humble and start asslicking other regions and their leaders and then you will still not get the presidency. This will be on repeat until you guys get your acts right. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Polchiz(m): 5:43pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
Missionaire: You sound as if the only good thing that can happen to a region is one of them becoming a president. Like seriously? It is only in the South that we here SS SE and SW. In the North, all that matters is that the president is from the North and also Hausa/Fulani Muslim. What is SE and SS? Is there a geographical location called South South? Delta state, Rivers state, Akwa Ibom state etc are all in SE geographically. So if Chibuike Amaechi becomes president tomorrow, efulefu like you will come and tell us how he is from SS and not SE. Even after Amaechi has come out publicly to tell the whole world that he is Igbo. Adeleke from Kogi or Kwara is not Yoruba because some idiots called them North Central. When una go get sense? |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 5:58pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
Polchiz: But Bianca Ojukwu was not allowed to run for the senate in Anambra because she was from Enugu I think even though she was married to Ojukwu who was an Anambra man. Was she not Igbo enough? If Amaechi is Igbo, why have you guys been complaining of marginalization by the Buhari government and other past government? When una go get sense? |

Polchiz: Why should I? |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 6:15pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
I have discovered that the plans of some of you here is to turn this beautiful thread into a tribal bashing one. First here is the possibility of another Northern Presidency through Atiku. Second is the possibility of Peter Obi being impeached. Third is the possibility of Amaechi / Zulum or Osibanjo / Zulum from the APC which are viable candidates. Fourth is that whatever happened, the SS, SW and the North would be well compensated come 2023. Fifth is the possibility that the SE politicians vying for the presidency are just wasting their time and resources. So, what I expect are civil arguments why these possibilities would be reality or not. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 6:23pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
mrvitalis: Develop your home right? I guess all those pictures of bad roads, insecurities, and other decaying infrastructures are from the book tales by moonlight right? Keep on taking advantage of the "opportunities we don't see". As long as you are paying state tax, it doesn't matter to us. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by mrvitalis(m): 6:27pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
Missionaire:Bad road is as a result of government policies nothing individual can do about it ...no tribe individuals have constructed more road than Igbos ...no tribe come close even Yea sure we pay taxes if it's demanded we are noble . Even you know u have patronised Igbos this week more than any tribe |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by maestroferddi: 7:04pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
Missionaire:Don't be ridiculous.... You can assemble a barrage of inanities and then get people to invest their time discussing the jumble of discordant misrepresentations you contrived? Ogbeni apply yourself in rather auspicious endeavours. I am zero tolerance for exercises replete with sounds and fury but signifying nothing. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by FIFApresident1(m): 7:09pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
Any projection that doesn't have a South Westerner as the Apc flag bearer is nonsense. Moreover, the intelligent Babagana Zulum is not going to be the vp, man is going to continue his developmental strides in Borno state. The Apc vp is going to come from North west, El Rufai or Umar Ganduje. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 7:53pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
mrvitalis: Bad government policies you say... What about the billionaires that are richer than your governors? I bet even the roads to their village is untarred. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 7:59pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
FIFApresident1: This is the kind of of comments I was expecting to see. You give your projections and I give mine. So, what if Zulum decides to go? Between those two you mentioned, El-rufai is more likely to be VP and Osibanjo as President or Amaechi / El-rufai. I think it is a possibility. |

Missionaire:A civil argument with an Igbo hater like you? A deluded little mug like you does not have the intelligence to engage in any argument. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 9:05pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
Polchiz: Igbo hater you say? Alright. These possibilities are given by me as a sort of warning to the entire Southern regions to critically look at things and prepare ahead for any move that may resemble these possibilities from the North. But you people only see what you want to see. To you guys everyone who says something contrary to your expectations is an Igbo hater. Politics most times involves some compromise or meeting point. You guys are not yet ready sha. Leave us in the SS and SW to plan and secure our political futures. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Polchiz(m): 9:33pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
Missionaire: Your gang up against Igbos is like a self-inflicted pain. Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. In any family, the weak ones always join hands to bring down the smartest among them. Some people rise by bringing others down. Who suffers most in this British contraption called Nigeria? You can not underestimate the power of natural selection. In 2015, a private school teacher whose salary was 25k was boasting for me that OBJ ruled Nigeria for 8 years while Igbos have failed to produce a president. I laughed at his foolishness. An average American would vote a credible candidate over his tribal man because he or she wants a quality life for himself. Maybe if Igbo man has ruled , the idiot would not be earning 25k with his university degree. My major headache is that many young people who are wasting their data on tribal fight on nairaland are unemployed. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 10:27pm On Feb 11, 2022 |
Polchiz: Really? But the other guy here says that the SE is not interested in the presidency. I remember when Peter Obi came out as VP to Atiku. He faced a lot of opposition from many of his kinsmen because of frivolities. They only rallied around him when it was already too late. You cannot say you don't want the presidency today and then turn around tomorrow to whine that you have not produced a president. Some of you say you want out through Biafra, your elders through Ohanaeze say those ones shouting for Biafra are Efulefus. But you insult them. You guys can continue being spectators. When you get your acts right by holding your leaders accountable, then we will know you're serious. You talk as if had an Igbo man been president this country would have been flowing with milk and honey. Perhaps it is a Yoruba or an Hausa or even an Ijaw man that is governor of Abia, Imo and Ebonyi states. I wonder why your governors have not turned your states to Dubai. Meanwhile, how can you say that the SE has not produced any president? Is Jonathan not an Igbo man? Is the name Ebele not Igbo? Don't worry, we in the SS will keep representing the SE. We are your big brothers. |

Missionaire:The road leading to his house was done by him years ago ... Oba is a typical example of igboness ...roads ,schools , market built by individuals Who called him out for bad road ? Never heard that But I know the road leading Mike adenugas house in Ogun is not motorable ...how many times had he been called out ? |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 7:59am On Feb 12, 2022 |
mrvitalis: But they didn't boast of nothing. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Polchiz(m): 8:24am On Feb 12, 2022 |
Missionaire: If you must know, without the tax from Igbos in most states, there will be no IGR. The reason they frown at Biafra. Historically, we are your brothers but you allowed politics to divide us. I urge you to see things beyond prejudice and your level of awareness, otherwise you may end up exposing your own ignorance. |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by mrvitalis(m): 8:31am On Feb 12, 2022 |
Missionaire:Ok show me where obi cubana boasted of anything |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 8:49am On Feb 12, 2022 |
mrvitalis: Not Cubana or Otedola. I meant their people. You're here boasting about how a governor in the SE is not the richest in his hometown yet you have bad roads everywhere. No one here has boasted of such. The bad roads there, are they not leading to your billionaires villages? |
Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 8:53am On Feb 12, 2022 |
Polchiz: Without the hospitality of most states, there would be no Igbo businesses. Concerning Biafra, you guys have done more to discourage others from seeing eye to eye on it with your disparaging, arrogant, insultive and insincere comments. We see how you treat yourselves. Perhaps you should preach this sermon to the Ebonyi people who you guys look down on and consider as second class Igbos and who have now come out to declare that they are not part of Biafra. If you can't get your own closest kin onboard, you shouldn't bother with us. Anyways, this thread is not about Biafra and the development or non development of the SE. This thread is about the 2023 possible political occurrences. They may be possible or not, but it is wise to consider them. A wise person considers all possibilities. |

Re: 2023: South East Presidency, A Mirage. by Missionaire: 9:00am On Feb 12, 2022 |
