A lot of things are wrong in that picture.

The proximity of stalls there shouldn't be the case, God forbid, but if any accident happens there it won't be funny at all.

Also they should at least be a semblance of neatness.

It is the fault of those selling close to the tracks.

It is like that in India as well.

And people die like chickens.

There should be some sort of barricade between the rail track and those doing business there. This are things government are supposed to do on their own, not wait till a tragic situation occurs before they do it and be sending condolence here and there.

In fact, this really happened yesterday while I was coming from Ojuelegba beside Tejuosho when a moving train was approaching and these women and yeasterners Lagos developers where saying to themselves "it can reach this side", "you should have identify it's not coming toward this side" and blablabla...

I wanted to film them but just decide to mind my own business

The place is under construction. The road is closed. People are the one forcing themselves to put up their sales there and we know the people that are there. We know their region

It's not well planned. People plying that route day-by-day need to be extra careful...

The nose cone looks like that of a medium speed train. Can't say how far that train is from the station but if it were moving at the speeds I think, those people are way too close to it and can be sucked in by the vortices generated.
Very risky.
