Okay. Wish you the best as you start out. Use Tek as a learning experience. Learn all you can as quickly as you can. Then start hunting for international remote roles. You'd already have experience providing customer support for foreign clients working with Tek

Which role did you apply for ?

Well, practice English test listening and reading (very important), also brush up on your general it knowledge website terms, hard ware details, software terms, operating system etc.

Your role is most likely for technical support advocate under the Consumer LOB.

Salary range seems about right for what TEK offers for a lot of their advocates.

Practice questions, someone has mentioned areas you can focus on already.

As it's been already stated, use TEK as a place to learn a lot about various technologies in the cloud (SAAS, PAAS, IAAS, etc), and then find the path which you wanna take. It could be devops engineer, cloud administrator, functional consultant, etc.

Take advantage of the Microsoft cloud challenges as you'd get vouchers to write various exams.

Not sure if all LOB's have access to Cloud Academy, but if your LOB does, please make very good use of it.

With 6 months to a year of consistently learning, I can assure you that you'd get an excellent offer from other companies within and outside Nigeria.

Also, network with people from other LOB's. Some people have info on some things that would definitely help you. Be it info about a company that is recruiting massively, or a side gig which would fetch you quick cash.

All the best in your journey at TEK.

It's always nice to fully state an acronym when it's first used. Most people don't know that LoB means Line-of-Business

Work load is heavy, but at least I was able to get Microsoft certified in my field. Tek expert really provides the environment to get latest news on Microsoft certifications at minimum costs, trainings and stuffs like that.

All in all a good company to start your tech career it seems.

I think they've changed the recruitment process in recent years because the stages are different from what I've been reading

TEK called me on Tuesday (a phone interview) scheduled an on-site assessment for Wednesday (which I did yesterday); I received a mail today requesting for my documents (credentials) and I don't know what to expect after this
