Seems to me that you applied for study permit with either a passport from an EU country , UK or USA.
Colleges with low tuition fees can be found in the Atlantic provinces of Canada. You can check out
New Brunswick community college (NBCC)
Holland college
College of the north atlantic

I applied with Nigeria passport.
Why did you say that lol . I havent travelled to contonou b4 not to talk of UK or EU or US. I am seriously confused right now..

That was because of the letter you shared with your post . The word eTA which simply means electronic travelling authorisation that is usually applied for by citizens of countries that don't require a visa to visit Canada for short stays. I only just assumed even though I wasn't able to read the whole letter to get a clearer picture .

If you wait, they will not debit you till jesus comes. Just go to your bank and let them know you have no time. I don't really think the system is automatic. I was in bank throughout yesterday before I got debited. I initiated another payment and was debited that same yesterday. I used UBA but access bank too is cool. If you're in lagos I will advice you go straight to their Headquarters. Thank God for UBA-MARINA.
Please, how do I go about the CBN form A process. I saw that it takes 15 working days to process after submitting the form. Will they contact me after the 15 working days. Someone should please explain to me in details. Also is there any way to speed up the whole process such as one does not wait for 15 working days.
Someone should please respond. Thanks

It's not a red flag. Kindly do 10,000 cad GIC from the fund if you can.

After tuition and gic. Officer will have no concern about lump sum. And your application response time will be faster.

Please mention it atleast 5 times in your SOP that you've paid your fees . It's a keyword .
Please what is GIC

E-FORM A

The E-FORM A is a new development from the Central Bank of Nigeria to replace the old paper based Form A that was previously in use (If you have made school fees payment through the Bank in the past, the Form A was one of the forms you filled and submitted alongside other documents).

The FORM A (either E-based or paper based) is a requisite document for making Foreign payments through the Nigerian Banking System. The form comes with a UNIQUE Reference number that is generated with your application.

So this new development means you do not have to visit the Bank physically to initiate your school fees or other invisible remittance payments(medical bills, PTA/BTA, Subscription payment, foreign consultancy payments e.t.c.) It’s like filling an online form.

STEPS
1. Visit the website tradesystem.gov.ng
2. On successful loading of the website click on Applicant
3. You will see a page to login in with your username and password. Before you can login, down the page, you will see an option for “Register now”. For first time users, you will have to register using your BVN (Biometric Verification Number).

P.S: Your BVN profile must carry an accessible email and phone number which will receive an One Time Password (OTP) to complete your registration. If the email or phone number on your BVN is not accessible, you’ll need to visit the Bank (not necessarily Bank branch) where you enrolled for your BVN to update your phone number and email. One of the document you’ll require may include a court affidavit.

4. You will be required to fill in different information to complete your application. If you’re making payment for schools fees, the following documents in soft copies are required to be uploaded on the portal;
1. Passport Biodata page
2. Undergraduate Certificate(If application is for M.Sc degree school fees payment)
3. Letter of offer of Admission
4. Payment Advise from the institution (stating the bank details of the institution and tuition amount).

5. There are 4 sections to be completed when filling this E-Form A.

Section 1: Applicant Information
Section 2: Trade Services
Section 3: Bank Details (Here you input the Bank details of the school you’re paying to, these details will be on the payment advise sent to you by the school)
Section 4: Attachments (Ensure to upload all the documents listed above, maximum file size per document is 2MB)
Section 5: Preview Form

Some answers to some information requested on the portal under the Trade Services Section of the Application.

a. Is Valid for Forex: Choose Yes
b. Trade Category: Educational Services (For those making school fees payment)
c. Transaction purpose: Postgraduate Studies
d. Tick educational fees

5. Select preferred financial Institution and branch for processing. It is advisable to choose a branch of the Bank closest to you, just in case you need to visit the Bank for follow up with copies of your documents just in case.

6. Preview form and submit.

This process is relatively new, so a lot of Banks are still trying to grasps it, so it’s advisable that once you’ve completed the application online, visit the bank branch that you chose to follow up and ensure that the branch has received and acted on your request.

Also not all bank branches have been profiled on the platform yet, so you may not see the branch closest to you, it’s also understandable.

Upon receipt of your application, the Bank will process based on availability of Forex (Foreign exchange). The Banks receive weekly, a certain amount of allocation of Forex from CBN. So requests are processed on first come first serve basis based on the available Forex. So it is advisable that you initiate your school fees payment at least two weeks before the deadline.

I answered a similar question 2 days back or so. Generally speaking you are allowed to change program of study and it doesn't have to be in the same school or change school in one province to a school in another province . But make sure your new school is also a designated learning institution (DLI).
The law made it clear that if you change school before travelling to Canada after getting your study permit approved ; you need to inform IRCC and apply for a new study permit using the new LOA from the new school. But if your plan is to change program or school when you get to Canada then to be on a safe side it's better to attend the old school for some weeks at least, withdraw from the program then switch to your new school . In this second case you still need to alert IRCC via their portal.

How long does it take for IRCC to update biometrics to completed as a second time applicant?

@Teemenzo, @Makano, @Omiinii, @DavidBanky, @PatrickOkunima, @Osemigho

So far it was updated in your first application, it will definitely be updated in the second one. They usually highlight it on the top right of your application page with the date you did it, so I don’t think it’s an issue.

Please I need advice..is it ok for me to go for diploma in nursing. I have bsc in public health,2:1. There is no MPH for January 2023 that I know of and cheap. Will going from bsc to diploma nursing affect my getting Visa easily.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by bullstriker: 8:53pm On Feb 13, 2022
It could. There are many related post-graduate diploma and certificate programs that you can go for. If you desire to study nursing, you can always change the program when you come to Canada.

Hello Jessica

Dunno if you are a 1st time applicant,

If you are not, you can do away with the police certificate, as its not a compulsory document...

Many applicants here have gotten their PPR without a police certificate.. It's not actually worth the stress..

You can get your Visa without it, as failure to submit it as never been a reason for refusal..

Peace

NSE is sakamanje . IRCC hasn't been sending it for a while now.

Also GIC doesn't stop NSE.

Hello everyone!
1)My upfront medicals appointment at IOM is on wednesday, apart from passport and original prove of payment of 46,500k, what else do i need to bring or know sha?

2)from the medical, will it states out ones genotype and blood group, in the medical slip given?

3)to those that already did theirs, i wanted to use FBN mobile app to transfer to the hospital's acct and will download the receipt generated there, is it this same receipt you all used as prove of payment that you printed out from your phone?

4) in my appointment letter, they wrote Swift code, what is the purpose of Swift code in transferring please? It is just to search for the standard chartered Bank on the app, right...?

Am paying tomorrow.

Thanks!

Good evening.
(1) The amount is N 57,800 or 150 USD not 46,500 for adults.

(2) You can transfer the money to their account and use your passport number as reference then print out the receipt to show them there.

(3) Is only x ray nothing concern them with other things just x ray , no blood group or others so fear not.

(4) Leave the sort code or swift just transfer to Lagos if you are using Lagos and Abuja account if you are using Abuja centre.

(5) Try go very early don't mind your time if pupulation is not much you can gain access early so that your certificate can come out early on or before 2pm.

GOOD LUCK.
