There's nothing apealling to me about career women or boss ladies, as such their rejections (if I were to mistakenly approach them) would be water off a duck's back. I don't find them attractive as they possess masculine traits which are a massive turn off

Many women are gonna meet a man with lesser educational qualifications but not a man with just SSCE. Well, circumstance and choices can make humans do what was never planned or expected.

A PHD has never really been about money, you see. So, many you need to work on understanding exactly why people seek out knowledge for the sake of knowledge in many of those cases.

A PhD can be for whatever reason the aspirer wants it to be. Millions of people get PhDs for divers reasons. Some for personal fulfilment, others for career advancement (read status, financial improvement), the reasons are as numerous as the number of people applying for and earning them
