Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by Themandator: 8:08am On Feb 17, 2022 |
AnonPoet: How does the bridge lead to ? Is it not the bridge linking Ikom and Obubra that replaced the old one done with sukukk bond Please explain the routes immediately you leave the bridge so we know how close it is to your Cameroon 1 Like |

Raxxye: You dey mind the idiot... As if the other side of the river is the land of Cameroon... FG constructing rail lines into another country is being compared with bridge that takes you into ikom.. Other villages you will even pass before the ikom that is a border town |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by Themandator: 8:13am On Feb 17, 2022 |
Brimstone77:The bridge is not even in the BOUNDARY NOT TO TALK OF SIDE... IT IS BEFORE IKOM WHICH IS THE BORDER TOWN YOU CROSS IT AND CONTINUE YOUR JOURNEY FOR ANOTHER 20 MINUTES OR MORE BEFORE YOU GET INTO IKOM.. IKOM IS NOT THE END OF NIGERIA OR CROSS RIVER STATE FROM IKOM YOU CONTINUE TO TO PLACES FSR OFF LIKE Obudu and ogoja which is a boundary between the south and north... It is after ogoja that you enter benue state |

TheMan3:What stopped OBJ, Yar'Adua & GEJ from building a world class bridge there since this one is mediocre? Don't just criticize for the sake of it, there are thousands of people who will benefit from this project. |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by WikiGuru: 8:19am On Feb 17, 2022 |
AnonPoet: This is my first comment here, in over two years. You are so very far from the truth if you claim that this bridge connects Nigeria with Cameroon. The bridge begins from the other end of Ikom(Ikom town) and merely crossed the Ikom stream, linking with Yala Ikom and heading to Obubra. Just stop misleading people here. I know this because I am from there. I lived in Four-Corners. |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by patrickmuf(m): 8:20am On Feb 17, 2022 |
Adaiobanyi1:The Bridge has nothing to do with Ayade. The funding is from Sukkuk bond and it has since been completed. It'd appreciate if you can tell us what exactly Ayade has done and done well... |

Can't they atleast clear the surrounding of weeds and re-spray the old bridge metal casing to make the environment look more tidy.. One is grateful that they've tried to complete the new bridge and even more thankful parasitic aboki.s have not spread to that axis if not all those metals would have gone. |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by patrickmuf(m): 8:22am On Feb 17, 2022 |
AnonPoet:The Bridge you are talking about was financed by AFDB or thereabout and links Nigeria to Cameroun however, the one the Op is talking about is different, it leads directly into Ikom main town. |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by TheMan3: 8:24am On Feb 17, 2022 |
Tomahawk99:don't talk like who don't have sense. What's my business with obj and co. All of them including buhari are failures. Well I understand where you are coming from. Perhaps you have never left the shores of Nigeria. |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by patrickmuf(m): 8:24am On Feb 17, 2022 |
WikiGuru:The guy is referring to the new bridge linking Nigeria and Cameroon which was financed by AFDB. The Bridge is even at Etung and not Ikom however, you are right on this one, the bridge in question leads directly into Ikom main town and has since been completed. It's very beautiful. |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by Themandator: 8:26am On Feb 17, 2022 |
theenchanter: It is not in any border.. It is within Nigeria and does not lead to any Nigerian border.. The bridge is between obubra and Ikom on the highway |

Themandator:The idiot is a brainless Zombie! Imagine comparing a few metres bridge within thesame town with hundreds of kilomtres of rail track laid across the desert to a useless foreign country! |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by Sunnymatey(m): 8:33am On Feb 17, 2022 |
This bridge has nothing to do with Cameroon, it rather connect the Cross River north to the south and the northern Nigeria to south. The border road that leads to Cameroon from the the North of nigeria is before the bridge. And the other road that connects some cities in Nigeria to Cameroon with another bridge via Etung LGA in Cross River is not entirely Nigerian project but AFDB |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by WikiGuru: 8:34am On Feb 17, 2022 |
Mynd44: Without verifying the validity of OP's claim that this culvert leads to Cameroon, you already basking in euphoria, confirming why many here allege that you are biased and tilt toward the government of the day, though you moderate a public forum and media platform at that. Really sad, so sad. Now I know why the likes of Abati and Adesina, two respected journalists became utterly disgusting when they got to Aso Rock. Obviously, he who pays the piper detects its tone. Have a nice day, please! |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by thundafire: 8:43am On Feb 17, 2022 |
AnonPoet:it doesn't lead to Cameroon but serve as a link to other part of Crossriver. Stop dishing out false hood. The bridge needed to be built because the old one has passed it's prime |

observer88:Minimal trade between Nigeria and Niger Ifyou know the amount of agricultural trade between Niger and Nigerian you wont be typing this ignorant BS Nothing pleases you guys. Pdp no gives us infrastructure una dey hail them, the one that's giving you infrastructure una they call them evil |
Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by Wasky101: 8:58am On Feb 17, 2022 |
Sunnymatey:Does the road after the bridge lead to Cameroon, has the old bridge been able to support movement of goods in large quantities from Cameroon. This are the questions. If the bridge is not on the passage to Cameroon would there be any conscious effort in building a new one? If u say u are fixing the road that leads to abuja from Lagos, the construction might as well be in lokoja abi no be still road to abuja? |

Re: Timeline Of Ikom Bridge In Cross River State (Pictures) by Wasky101: 9:01am On Feb 17, 2022 |
Raxxye:Useless country, but agricultural trade with them is high. Lemme give u a sneak peek into the trade, do u know those tall red goats that you like to consume, can u guess where they come from by truck loads, Do u also know that loads of grains planted in the north finds there way to Niger by tons. |
