Courts have jurisdiction in Intra-party affairs when the constitution of that Party isn't followed.

The case here is on territorial jurisdiction. The Supreme Court has stated that in cases that involves the domestic affairs of Party say: Ward Congress, State Congresses, LG Congresses, Governorship Primaries.....The territorial jurisdiction should lie within the Federal or State High Courts in that State.

The issue of contention lies with the Kano Ward Congress and should have commenced from the Kano State High Court or Federal High Court, Kano and not the FCT High Court in Abuja.

It was just last week that Shekarau and his group rejected the proposed power sharing deal because of the favorable judgement of the lower court. Now, they have lost it all as we predicted. Hopefully, Ganduje will be magnanimous in victory. A political solution is the only way forward for the party. They should go back to the power sharing deal and work together in the interest of the party.

Who told you that Kwakwanso is also 100% in control of Kano PDP structure hence will want to accomodate Shekarau?. As at today , Kwakwanso is in a battle with Amb Aminu Wali and Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo for the soul of Kano PDP
