I don't take it serious because I don't load anything on it except TV and other dstv and sometimes Frid Fridge... Reason why I used to think maybe the avr was low due to low load on it...

I have Maxi Generator 5000W. 25L tank Capacity.

I run
One 1.5hp hisense Inverter
One 55inches Hisense TV
One Medium Size Hisense Fridge
One Lg home theater system

I only get 20hrs of Power supply from the 25L full tank. What is your intake on the fuel consumption please

Its the equivalent of low voltage, it will power your tv but devices with pumps and compressors will struggle to work ( there will be over heating).

oh... I get your point... I reduced the running speed because 1 litre of fuel only last for 1 hour 30 minutes.. But I'll increase the running speed when I get back home

A generator of 3000-4000 starting watts is what you need. Should have been less if your AC was inverter type.

Its a big generator, such fuel consumption is normal.

My generator is 2.5KVA. Recently, it loses power when I place load (the generator keeps running but no power). Once the load is removed, the light/power comes back on.

NB: it works normal when the regular loads are placed but loses the power when loads like washing mashing or travel iron (800W) is connected.

If I am to change the capacitor, please suggest the right size or specification.

didn't buy it online. I bought from an accredited store,where I got my previous gen 5 years ago.i don't buy fake stuff,and It's got the 'buyer beware' sticker on the gen..BTW is it cheap?.how much do u think it goes for?

so far so good it has really done well. Fuel consumption is one of the best . Can take me 10 to 12 hours with my AC off. Please buy it if you got the $$$,I highly recommend it.

nope 10 to 12hrs on 9 litres(#1500 fuel). With my 1.5hp LG inverter AC switched on, i get about 7-8 hours not sure.

Can't believe i just adjusted and fixed my valve lash myself (the useless mechanic dude adjusted on the wrong stroke) makes me wonder the things you can learn from YouTube DIY

Pls I need ur humble contribution. The current prices of 7ka petrol gen and above are quiet on d high side. I have a Sumec firman diesel gen sumec-firman-sdg7000se-diesel-generator 5kva but I think d engine block is gone… it consumes too much oil. Now shud I invest money in it and get half engine for d gen or I shud just sell it off?
I want to use it in a fashion shop. Will be sewing to carry industrial sewing machines, heat press machine. Attached below is d picture of d gen.
