I saw that shit you call bike pooling for the first time in a certain area that ferries Akwa Ibom people from aba to ikot ekpene. Bonafide igbo or aba people are too proud to make bike pooling a thing. Imagine sharing the backseat of a bike with some.stranger just to save #100 or #500. On one instance where I was taking someone to my place, because she needed to take some crop in my compound for medicinal use.

People that say it is for saving money don't know what they're saying.
If any accident happen because of bike pooling, the money they're trying to save would not be enough to cover their hospital bill.

I stayed in Lagos all my life. Came to Ibadan to start a new work few months ago. I'm always surprised when a lady is on bike and the bikeman stops to pick me along the way, the lady will come down for me to climb first.

Bike pooling with strangers is something I have never done. I don't even understand how people who don't know you, are so cool with suggesting it.
