You want pay me arrears?

After secondary school i was hired as a computer operator/typist/gate man/office cleaner/water fetcher/picker of oga's children from school/oga's car washer/office boy for everybody(errand boy) on a salary of 8k...
i just use sense collect my last month's salary,pretended to be sick..
follow back door quit that job before they kill somebody's son.

3k. 2008 after I finished secondary school. I dey work for pure water factory

After Sec school,I got a teaching job 15k per month as a physics teacher. More money came in for me during the WAEC and jamb period as I took the kids extra classes. I was a kid myself then lol

Pre-NYSC, during that long ASUU strike, I agreed to work in a bar for 7k but I ran and stopped the work after the first day.

Post-NYSC, first offered and accepted job was appx 45k but I ran after some days.


Then I took up a teaching job that paid me 15,000/month when owu dey hit me and I don't want to go back home all in the name of I wan dey Lagos.
The salary don't even come steady, na by force I take dey collect am, if not e fit reach ending of the following month.
One thing I did and I like is I never allowed anyone use job's rules and regulations stress me, I do what I feel is right but not detrimental to me.


Thank God, all these are memories now and I don't look like what I have been through.

In naira equivalent it was about 1.8m.

I no sure say e reach 20k. I think it was about 15k or thereabout. For one useless school. The principal go come dey send me to buy eggroll and CHILLED Pepsi. He always emphasised on the CHILLED.

They couldn’t even pay salaries promptly, but they had money to print rule books for staff. Flouting each rule attracted a fine of N100- N1000. At the end of the month, you’ll be lucky not to lose at least 20% of the salary.
