That's the point, i do that to my relatives, even if they are poor, if they give me biro as a gift, i thank them to make them feel good, and that way i encourage sharing and caring.

Gift are not about gaining to me, its about expressing care.

Sometimes i even surprise myself, how i show i am grateful, even when i dont need a gift lo

when next you go visiting, buy stuff worth like 50k or probably higher, there she would understand that u are now a big guy who doesn't need such money anymore.

Convince her to invest in your life.
What use is a generous aunt if she can't lift you up financially.
You can choose this or don't bother, just keep living with your parent till when you are 50 years.
