Cam one seek Irish companies who one can work as a remote staff and maybe intern for a week to ascertain ones capabilities, tried networking with one Nigerian in Ireland and he didn't even attempt creating a legitimate opportunity, some time layer I saw him jumping into Nigeria, its like most of the Nigerians abroad want to turn the others left back to illegal immigrants so they try to fustrate one. |

does Ireland allow dependents or student to bring in dependents like UK? |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Dwebb55: 1:52am On Feb 08, 2022 |
halaal: You cannot work in Ireland without a permit, either student or work. Remote work requires that you are present here in Ireland and other documentation which you have to apply for. |

Can one get refused if one use an unofficial transcript with my university stamp and signature? I got the watermarked transcript from my university because it was directly sent to my email. Hope it's not an issue. Thank you. |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Alday: 9:52am On Feb 13, 2022 |
For the embassy, I'm not sure it will be an issue. Your unofficial copy would be ok. For your destination school, you have to make sure they did not explicitly request for an official copy. If they do/did, then pay your Nigerian school to send one directly to them. Unclenene: |

juniior: Hello, please I have a question regarding using education bond, with an education bond are we required to submit sponsor details? |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by juniior(m): 11:22pm On Feb 20, 2022 |
onagamich: You must submit your sponsors bank statement if you include a sponsor on your visa application, whether you apply for education bond or not. However If you apply for education bond, your sponsor doesn't need to have excess cash in account. Education bond would serve as sufficient proof of finance. My advice to you is to use education bond and your personal bank statement. Leave sponsor about of your application. It brings in alot of difficulties, like; 1. Strong link to your sponsor (with evidence) 2. Sponsors business registration documents 3. Sponsors tax clearance papers 4. Sponsors bank statement and letter from bank 5. Sponsors explanation for lump sum lodgements (in and out cash with evidence) Etc Reasons related to sponsors are one of the highest reason for refusals |

juniior: Thanks a lot for this, meanwhile just for clarity's sake, Is it okay for one to use only an education bond without a sponsor and pay complete tuition for 1 year if someone is going for a 3-year bachelor's degree studies. Will it affect the visa decision as there is no proof for subsequent years after the first year In other words how can one prove this if It's self-sponsored "Evidence that you or a sponsor have access to at least €7,000 for each subsequent year of your studies, in addition to the course fees for each of those years". |

One of my students in Ireland shared this with me earlier today. who knows a lot of people looking for work sponsorship visa may find it helpful. I am still reading up and carrying out research, I suggest you do the same: https://coru.ie/health-and-social-care-professionals/international-qualifications/apply-for-recognition/ Currently qualifications are being recognized for the following professions (select your profession below to apply for recognition): Dietitians Dispensing Opticians (General Division) Dispensing Opticians (Contact Lenses Division) Medical Scientists Occupational Therapists Optometrists Physiotherapists Podiatrists Radiographers and Radiation Therapists Social Workers Speech and Language Therapists Once you have the accreditation from the above body for these professions, you can get an employer / hospital to sponsor your work permit. 1 Like |
