Meanwhile Ekiti State may be less developed than Ogun.
But it is safer and more hospitable than Ogun, coupled with lower cost of living.

In terms of rent, Ado Ekiti and Oye Ekiti are on the high side. Other places are Okay.

Your lies reach heaven. OP a room apartment goes for 40k in Ado-Ekiti and as low as 5k in other villages but don't go near university campuses like iworoko and oye-ekiti. The landlord go use you settle cases

Don't go out at night and never stay out beyond 7:30pm. I am saying this because skull mining activities starts from 7:30.

Please like another person advised carry food unless you belly can deal with any kind of food( I mean amala,ewedu and hydraulic soup).

Don't worry you will be fine.its just a one year program.

Pls i am just posted to ikoro ekiti. I am new to the environment. I heard ekiti corpers are just paid fed govt alawee and no state govt incentive or PPA incentive. Pls is it true?

Ekiti is a very good place to serve, nice and friendly people who have high respect for Copas . Don’t let anyone deceive you, all the food items you can find in anyway part of Nigeria are also in ekiti. Foods stuff like yam, Garri banana are very cheap because they are produced there.vegetable is everywhere and very cheap if you are buying. But be careful with their girls, no ekiti girl is single no matter their age. Their boyfriend can harm you if they notice you are trying to woo or date their girlfriends

Be wise as a serpent.

Protect your skull by all means possible.

If you have first degree then know is not seen as big deal in that state.Almost all family have a PhD holder or Prof.
They are poor and will not add value to you economically. They will instead want to eat from you federal allawee. The state allawee will be nothing
The cost of food will be cheap
You may end up in free house because they have abandoned houses by thr elites who have all relocated to Lagos because they are afraid of being killed with juju
Thr woman are very cheap and can hold you down with juju if you are a guy
If you are a lady be careful with thr men.They are predominantly civil servants and transport union workers.
Don't even dream of staying back after service.
You must pretend to be respectful to thr elders by bending to great or they do you something strong.
When going out make sure u put something signifying Corp member for your personal security.This is very important.
The people of that region are very envious so be very careful how you deal with them.
After service run for your life and progress
They have beautiful water fall that produces hot and cold side too
