I thought I'm the only one that saw that line of "him going to fight dirty" and I cringed.

Even the aspect of listing the number of yoruba people in current government, I was shocked because it was unnecessary, he should not tow that tribal line at all.

I just hope he was misquoted.

This old fool should go and rest

He may be an "old fool" to you but you may be the bigger fool for not understanding that it is his constitutiomal and democrstic right to run for the position of Nigerian President.

If the constitution does not consider him an "old fool", and does not siaqualify him from running, then who are you to do so if not an undemocratic character likely failing in life because he does not try to fundamentally understand or master anything and only prefers hurling insults and abuse 24/7 like an unruly child.

If younger Nigerians want power let them commit to learning and mastering the game of politics so they can win big at it.

Look at Sowore who lost a Presidential election to immaturely declare "revolution now" in the hope of ousting Buhari who defeated him. Who will make that one President?

That is the crap most Nigerian "youths" do that will ensure they won't smell the Presidency anytime soon.

The most satisfying thing about him (Asiwaju) is that he's ahead if all the Igbo Presidential aspirants, put together. He will defeat them in any election, any day and twice on an election day.

I'm always super excited, each time I saw Igbos commeting hates on Yoruba related posts. It always reek of envy and jealous of a tribe trying to do catch up.
And what do you always feel when yorubas are commenting on Igbo related threads with their hatred and bitterness?

Tinubu spoke his mind. We are all tribalistic. Nigeria can never be one, and that's why there can never be any meaningful development.

The next government is still coming in to do roads and borehole and use the remaining money to pay his cronies.

Why then was his statement twisted
Tinubu is a liar, no one twisted his statement. He knew he fumbled with that comment and he's now changing mouth. The video is there, we all watched it and that was exactly what he said.

Oga, I no send you. This is a faceless forum. I can only make conclusions about you from what you write.

What I stated is my observation of you. You and many others, like the agbaya Asgard73, don't write as if you understand that politicians, who will have the first say before the Nigerian electorate, think difeerently to the ordinary man on the street.

You talk as if they are driven by vindictive, hateful, ethnocentric and emotional sentiments alone as you are. 2022-2023 will be interesting. Let us watch and enjoy. cool cool.

Precisely. Hate will ensure they never understand or accept why Tinubu and the Yorubas are better than them at everything.

I recently told a delusional IPOBian here (Asgard63, Asgard73, Frigga13 etal) that hating Yorubas with all his being does not deny their standing and worth, politically and as an outstanding ethnic group, in Africa let alone Nigeria.

Tinubu sowed relentlessly, for over 2decades, to be where he is today. Only Igbos vehemently wish him misfortune 24/7 because they will never understand and accept a fundamental cornerstone consideration of life which is that most people feel that deserving folks should reap where they have sown.

It is what makes the world go round. It is the reason a man is promoted at work for putting in the hardwork to improve his company.

It is the reason parents who put in massive and uncompromising effort to raise their kids deserve successful offsprings who will make them and their community proud.

We should all the reap what we sow. Good or bad.

Tinubu is a politician who has put in the effort, finance and time to improve Nigeria's democracy and lead his electoral constituency well.

Only Igbos, explaining why they alone are cursing the man so much of more than 300 ethnic groups, cannot understand that it is not unnatural for many to want Tinubu to reap where he has not only sown but sown very well and exemplarily.

Look at the ratio of the hatred, only a handful of Yoruba, ( majorly in the teens)
and those in reactionary modes, constituted the Yorubas that will needlessly insult igbos. However, same can't be said of the Igbos. You're always in droves to insult Tinubu, Osibanjo and other Yoruba leaders. The only ones you don't insult are those in open confrontations with Tinubu, ehy?

Tinubu's camp errors..

"You would be president after me" -
- Tinubu VS Nigerian youths.

"I am ready to fight dirty with anybody"
- Tinubu VS Other APC factions.

"Anytime the SW wants to be president, they always refuse"
- Tinubu VS Other regions yet to even taste VP or president.

The signs are quite visible that Nigeria might unite against Tinubu.

Why hasn't Nigerians unite to end Banditry, UGM, Boko Haram, poverty, Tribalism, unemployment, election malpractices?

Tinubu is a man who does not speak for the sake of it alone. He knows what is to come.

It is the way. The Nigerian sytem will always fear those they feel have the appeal, character and reformational talent/charisma to win elections and transform Nigeria. Like Awolowo or Abiola for example.

Same system conspired against Awolowo to crown the inept Shagari who only moved us backwards to the detriment of every Nigerian man, woman and child living in Nigeria beyond 1979.

They are up to their tactics again and we must ask what, for example, is all the shenanigans of Buni and co in aid of if not to cheat Tinubu of the right to fight fairly for the right to be APC candidate?

Tinubu should go for it. Yorubas are firmly behind him. So also many non-Yorubas. From day one, and long before Tinubu revealed his ambition, Buni has been shouting about not letting one "strong man" hijack APC.

Is that what Buni should be saying, if him and his crew understand the need to deepen our Political Party democracy, or should he be working to make APC a fair platform democratically available to all and denied non as his oga, Buhari, benefited from?

Tinubu is right to warn he will fight to be President. He knows opposition against his ambition goes all the way to the top.

I have never seen Buni as a worthy opposition or an antagonist to Asiwaju, Buni is just an opportunist, a product of a compromised system. His time will expire shortly, whether he wants it or not, and he will go into obscurity, like many before him. Where is Odigie Oyegun today?

How long will his media aide continue to clarifies his statements ?

First, he was misquoted when he said Nigeria should employ 50m youths into the army.

Then, he was misquoted again when he said voters' cards expire. Now, he has been misquoted when he says he will fight dirty.

Can Tinubu be guided properly and stop speaking off the cuff? This will make him to be quoted accurately and correctly.
