Hephhem:Wow. This is super fast. Indeed, there's nothing as good as being intentional and doing this by one's self. Above all, it is GOD'S FAVOUR and it will speak for everyone that believes. If i may ask, what type of visa did you apply for your spouse and daughter? |

Olumidestella:You can only enter at least one month before your resumption. Since you are resuming September, you have to wait till August. |

I have been a silent reader for a while and the wealth of information here is amazing. I appreciate you all. Congrats to those that have gotten their PPR. I tap in! I just want to ask; I am seeing quick responses to those that applied through the new portal. I want to know if it makes sense to apply through the new IRCC portal, even though I already have an ongoing application on the old portal ? Thank you. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Teemenzo: 5:43pm On Feb 22, 2022 |
Belle110:Except you want to withdraw the ongoing application. My advice for you is to be patient. You can use the mew portal and get stuck like that. New portal people still get delayed too. Just have faith |

Exactly my thought. If your application is less complicated i think it’s always faster. At least a Dec 10 applicant that got refused few pages back used the GCKEY. And i know someone that used the new portal since November no update till now. Teemenzo: |

Congrats. Please where did you upload other supporting documents at the new portal. I could only see 4 portion of attachments. Letter of acceptance, payment of tuition fee receipt, proof of fund and other document. I can't find where to attach other supporting documents. Pls enlighten me. |

Teemenzo:Of course, you're right. If an application is complicated it'll take time for final decision to be out regardless of which portal used. But in a general sense, I want to strongly believe there is higher chances that VOs are touching more applications from the new portal. Before the new portal was introduced, the truth is we hardly see final decisions coming in within 2 months and now it's happening steadily. In fact, we've been seeing 7 weeks and less now. Come to think about it, if an organization or government introduces new thing or policy, there is higher chances they are trying to abolish the previous thing and stick to what's new. IRCC may do the same in the nearest future. It could be 6 months, 1 or 2 years, no one can say. But personally, I want to believe it'll happen. |

Toceenay:A brother here, jay316, got his approval in 48days with GCkey and that was before the new portal. The fact is that his application was straightforward. Anybody can get a quick reaponse if there are no doubts surrounding your application. My first application was cancelled exactly the day it clocked 2 months. That was fast enough for a refusal. So anything can sele. Lets just be praying and hope for the best. |
