Good day Nairaland family. Pls, I have a question; any issue with changing course outside Canada, say electrical engineering 4yrs program to Computing a 2yrs program within the same DLI? Your contribution/input will be highly appreciated. Thank you. |

I'm not exactly sure of what the right answer will be, but one thing I understand from the responses these other consulates give is that, if they're not the office handling your application, they'll reroute your enquiry to the appropriate consulate handling it. That, to me, serves same purpose as you writing to the primary office directly, which is to constantly remind them to look at your application. MARINA49: |

Hello Kellykk Yes, they will definitely do another Background chekc and Eligibility review for you even though you have applied before.. Things can change between September last year and now, so they will definitely treat your appreciation like a new application... IRCC are always thorough when it comes to investigating and reviewing every application.. I will advise you should just be positive cos it will eventually end in praise.. Peace KellyKk: |

Hello Chechem IELTS is never a required document for Canada study permit application.. Many applicants just do oversyllabus by submitting it.. it's not a required or compulsory document.. Peace Chechem: |

Hello Tonia You didn't make mention of the inflow and outflow of the said accounts.. But this is my advise, you do not need to rush to apply, since your sponsor(hubby ) earns over a million naira monthly, thats makes the work easy.. Give your self some few months and work on your SOA.. I wanna assume his inflow is very good, now he needs to work on his closing balance as the sponsor.. So let him save up for some few months and also you as the applicant.. Even though we have seen peeps getting visa with low closing balance, remember every application is different and unique and also instances like these comes once in a while.. So please still give yourselves some few months, try build your closing balance and have him pay part of your tuition fees if not all.. You have a good chance if you both carefully work on these areas.. And having an express entry shouldn't be a problem cos its stated on their website that dual intention is allowed and I have seen few applicants get their study permit despite having an EE profile.. If you can convince the Visa Officer, you honestly have no problem.. Peace Tonia1720: |

Quick question House and @Makano; My eligibility has started since Feb 7 and I just changed Job on 15th of Feb. I left the company that gave me Introduction letter with study leave for a better job now in major telecom company in Nigeria. Do I need to update them with new job since my LinkedIn account as changed ? I saw something like PFL for fake employment recently. I don’t want this to be interpreted wrongly. Kindly advice… I also don’t want to affect the process by uploading something that will delay their process. I’m open to suggestions… Regards. |
