congratulations. are you getting a brp Or the visa length is fully on your passport?
@lolomaxwell @giselle237

I have some questions please.

1. For the *employment history, should I include my NYSC details? Since they are asking for Government non-military compulsory national service*.

2. For the question on *family who live in the uk*, do I need to include my maternal uncle (since it doesn't fall under the specific examples they included in the picture below

3. For *mother's family name* is it her maiden name they mean or her current surname (which is same as mine and my dad's).?

Your prompt guidance is highly appreciated. Thank you

1. One-way is okay.
2. No, you dont. Just fill the passenger locator form.
3. It's a 50/50 for me. I'd rather fly Qatar than Royal Air Maroc.
adexxxx:
Please, I am looking to fly Royal Air Maroc to the UK in a couple of weeks and I have got questions.

1. I'm going on a Tier 1 Visa, do I need a return ticket or am I okay with one-way?
2. Do I need to do a covid-19 test? PS I am fully vaxxed + booster jab.
3. Is Royal Air Maroc a good airline? I have seen bad reports about it here on nairaland, but most of it are from few years ago.

Thanks
Thanks

It shouldn't. You only need your 1st degree certificate.
The WAEC only comes into play if you use it to prove your English proficiency to your prospective school.

Hi again thanks for your response I want to be sure if spending 700k which is over 2 month my salary isn't a red flag cos my salary is about 300k and the 700k is about 2.5? And moreover are you so sure that the flight would be about 250k range thanks in anticipation.

quote author=AmeliaT post=110420292]Awwww. Switch!! You've been MIA. So sorry to hear about this.

I believe 600k-700k should be sufficient but itemize your budget clearly to them showing what you are paying for and what cuzzo is sponsoring. For example:
Flight- 250K
Entertainment- 200k
Shopping- 150K
Transport- 100k
Accommodation- Free as I'll be hosted by my cousin
Food- Free and will be provided for by my cousin

Also, clean up your statement and provide evidence of other ties to show you're not a potential flight risk. Goodluck!

Hi

I want to apply for a UK visa ( purpose is tourism) . I have a Turkey denial ( November and they stamped the denial stamp)

I have no other travel history . Would it be better I travel first to Dubai in April before I apply for the visa in May/June?

But this was in the 70’s. They usually request for the past 10 years. I don’t think this applies

Well they asked for it this week.

Thank you for your response.

1. I have filled all the necessary details as the main applicant without missing any information....Upon continuing to IHS portal,it requested i added some more information ,which I supplied. My main concern now is do i have to pay the IHS before it allows further actions.

I am thinking maybe that's when my GWF will be active.
.

Temi231:

So sorry, I am just seeing this. Have you been able to made any headway?

You are definitely doing something wrong.
How are you filling the application? Please calm down . Each application needs to come with their own GWF. How you will link the application is when asked some question relating to dependant .
For example when I was filling mine, I put my spouse name , parent details and my kids as dependent where it’s asked.

My spouse GWF and for each children are different but all the information are the same.

Please let me know where you are having issue.

You have to pay IHS as soon as it is asked for during the application

It is not an unusual term or phrase ecos sometimes use on refusal letter. It only means if in future applications his circumstances has not changed(positively) such that the application is convincing to the eco, then a refusal may be made again in for that application.

Thanks for the response, please I’ve attached the main reason for refusal here.
As at the time, his business was newly registered but he has been doing this business for years so he doesn’t have a tax clearance as he can only get that after a full financial year.
I don’t know what we can use to convince the eco now for a student visa

Well, there is always room for improvement they say, thus, if at the time of his application and as you have noted the business was still new, it meant the eco might have perceived that the business could not have generated such an income stated by him, and also maybe an absent of a tax clearance cert. had further cast doubt on such earnings. Now, the business is quite few months old, he could decide to pay tax, evidence of assets the business has generated/acquired. Mind you student's visa application is quite different to applying for a tourist visa, and if you asked, that alone is a change in his personal circumstances and he must now make efforts to demonstrating that he would be able to sponsor himself, and have is dependent family on such visas and as such the previous eco concerns may not be the same for a future application.
Also next time try to doctor/blur some personal details when posting documents that may have such info.
best of lucks

Wow. So sorry about that. Just fix the CAC issue, look at your account statement and make sure it matches the invoices. One other issue I see which could be flagged next time is that your profile and evidence may seem like you've aggrandized yourself but your statement/ income isn't matching up to the perception you are showing. I think you need to work on that as well. All the best!

Hi Amelia..hope you are good. sorry im post my question under someone elses post. quick one

I younger brother is planning to apply for UK visa with a paid conference invitation and the trip is going to be fully funded by his organisation. please what do you think he should get prepared in terms of documents

Secondly can the trip be fully funded by his organization ? If yes, what and what documents does his company need to provide for him apart from company bank statement.

He is married with two kids

He is a certified surveyor and valuer

Thank you

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by oyin000000: 12:25pm On Feb 24, 2022
Good morning house. I moved to the UK last year as a dependent, I have 2 sisters in Nigeria and they will like to visit me for holiday in the summer. One is 13 and in school and the other is 28 and working. I am currently filling out the form for the 13-year-old and will like some advise.

Our parents are late and we've transferred guardianship for the 13 y/o to my aunt and uncle - should I fill out their names as parents or our birth parents? Also both of them live with my grandma (I dont know if this is relevant information).

Since she's young as doesnt have any income should I put my income and monthly expenses in those fields or indicate no income and put my monthly expense amount (I'm unable to fill this as GBP 0.00)?

Apart from a letter from my office, bank statements, a letter that I'll be sponsoring the trip, a letter from her school in Nigeria and a letter from my aunt (her guardian) giving her permission, what other documents should I include?

Since she is 13, I have to put in 2 people that will be traveling with her can I put me and my sister's names since the guardians cant travel with her? When does it stop and can travel on her own?

Another question: My aunt submitted an application for a uk visa in December last year, the paid mail says a decison has been made on her visa, she paid for Keep my passport and hasnt heard anything. Should she just wait or is there anything she can do? Is it because she paid to keep her passport weve not heard back yet? (I know theres a general delay)

Thank you everyone that takes time to reply questions here! It has been so so helpful to me and I have been issued Uk visas because of this knowledge. May you find help whenever you need it.
