Please I need assistance on Ontario Colleges that offers two years PG cert courses in Human Resource because I saw on earlier threads that you will be offered 1year PGWP for a year course.

Thanks I passed there now. Please regarding to other documents we need to include aside the ones they notified, how do we add. For instance in the ‘FUNDS’ section, can I add bank statements with other documents like lands and other owned properties or just the statements and add others in the ‘ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS’ section.

Merge all your proof of funds documentsin one pdf. E.g bank statements, properties, sponsorship letter and documents if sponsored, shares Cert, CAC documents if a business owner etc.

Please I need answers to this,
I am about applying for my visa and I have a concern my parents are the ones sponsoring my studies, and travel, I am currently working but I don’t have much money in my account like around 500k is it advisable I also use my own statement alongside that of my parents, because I was told they would love to see my inflow of salary and all that to proof I am working.

Hello All,

Please I want to find out if anyone who has used the new portal has been refused? I think processing applications from the new portal has been much more objective and straight forward.

This is not a slight on GCkey, I just want to know for knowledge purposes.

Yes, you are being sponsored. So they don't expect you to show more of your sponsors.

The fact that we are seeing faster processing time from the new portal doesn't mean it's a straightforward ticket to PPR... Or are you thinking there are no rejections?

Exactly! People would have used the new portal and still gotten refused. Your documentation also matters whether you used new portal or GC Key, even the faster processing time, that's if your application isn't complex. I'm sure there are people who have used the new portal since November and haven't gotten a decision, just because we don't see or hear of it doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Make everyone calm down. The PPR go reach all of us....

The fact still remains that the VOs are selecting cases ramdomly for processing. So we should just relax and keep praying

Good afternoon fam…
Please I have a problem o I’ve not been working since lockdown but I have business I’m doing but not registered, and I’ve been running my personal account my 4months statements is about 9m (inflows n outflows)closing balance is 2m but I’ve paid tuition deposit of 1.530m my bro in law will be my sponsor, please do I need to register my business because of this? And won’t they feel like I register because of visa ? Or shud I put it in my Sop that I was working bfr the lockdown n show the salary slip ? Or shud I just say I’ve been running a business as self employed (I feel self employed doesn’t require registration) I’m confused on what to explain …… is the 9m inflow n outflows okay for bank statements?

Which is why I am asking if anyone has used the new portal and gotten a rejection, at least we have not seen one have we? I am just asking for knowledge purposes. Like I mentioned earlier maybe the new portal has removed some subjective considerations that have affected applications from Africa in view of the barrage of complaints against the discrimination experienced by Africans - just a thought.

Except you get a scholarship, as an int'l student, I don't think you'll find a $10,000 CAD per year tuition for masters.
