the agent I met said the same thing concerning the diploma course but she said she can help me with bsc result with transcript with necessary document but I will have to pay. She said if I have 6.5mil, it will be enough for griffin. So I don't really know how to apply for this myself and I will be 29 by September. For now I have been able to save almost 4m. Thanks for taking your time to respond
Don't try it grin

Do I need financial proof for Australian catholic University?
Is it possible to get a job in Australia after arriving to finance my next school fees payment?
Which route is best to travel to Australia ?

A classmate of mine got a denial in 2019 for similar reasons apart from age (she was 27).

Her agent (female) put in a strong and wordy defence for her appeal. One of her counter-arguments was that strong ties cannot be limited to marriage as her aged parents serve as strong family ties in the absence of marriage, and that to describe ties in terms of marriage alone amount to stigmatizing people who have personal reasons to be unmarried at the given time...

If you have shown anywhere in your GTE (backed by evidence) that you have property(ies), OR if you hold decisive position in your family e.g 'first born, First son, in charge of family biz, pictures showing you and your family members particularly your mother, go ahead and give it a try. Exhaust your options, it can't be worse than already.

If your argument is cultural based (first born Trad/Cultural duties, blah blah blah); show them personal/family related proof and also refer them to well-known African literature(s) that explains these roles better- Chinua Achebe's 'Things Fall Apart' & Ola Rotimi's 'The gods are not to blame' might have suitable plot...

If the cost of appealing is within your budget and you can equally stand a 'final' No, then go for appeal and know that you gave it your best shot- on this occasion.

Note: offshore applicants can appeal unless the rules have changed and I'm behind the news..

Best of luck

Thanks my brother God bless you.
Firstly, no appeal for offshore student
Let me paste what they said below

When considering the applicant’s circumstances in their home country, as well as the above
consideration, I find that they have not been able to demonstrate strong enough personal or
financial tie/s to outweigh incentives for them to remain in Australia.
I have given regard to whether there is any other matter that is relevant to the assessment
of the applicant’s genuine intention to temporarily stay in Australia and find that there are no
other relevant matters for consideration.
On balance, after having considered all of the information provided with the application, the
applicant’s personal circumstances and the comparatively greater economic opportunities in
Australia than in the applicant’s home country/country of residence, I am not satisfied that the
applicant is a genuine applicant for entry and stay as a student in Australia. As such, I am not
satisfied that the applicant satisfy regulation 500.212.
Conclusion
After weighing up these factors as a whole, I am not satisfied that the applicant intends
genuinely to stay temporarily in Australia.

Sorry about the denial. To start with, I want you to know that there are many single persons who had been granted study visa.
Look jnto your application and see that there are things you need to set straight and maybe reapply again after sometimes. Alternatively, if you are able to prove some of the things they claimed you didn't show enough evidence, that will be fine.
Are you fully employed in Nigeria? Did you give them any evidence of continuous employment with maybe previous promotions, payslips and or employment letter?
Did your agent guide you at all in writing your GTE?
Who was your sponsor?

In my opinion, do not give up. Pursue it, and get it.

Please, here is what to do to use form A to pay AUD.
1) Your school should be in partnership with student.globalpay.wu.com western union tuition fee process site.

2) What the site does is that it will help you raise a quote which you will print. The quote will be in Dollars. In other words, you will be paying into your schools account with the western union in dollars but the conversion on their site will be your AUD equivalent.

3) Print the quote and use the account details to fill your FORM A. Hope it's clear. In that manner, you will be paying in USD to your schools western union account.

4) Upload your western union invoice, admission letter, first degree and then your passport and submit your form A

5) Call your bank central customer service line to fast track the payment with Cbn officers.
Then your Telex comes in soonest. Atmost 4-5days if you follow this process.

N/B; Make sure you fill your form A PROPERLY TO AVOID DELAY.
Any other inquiry: send a mail

My deposit was paid two days ago using this method. Applied over a month ago. I just hope subsequent payments will be faster.

This journey to Australia is a three-step ponzi scheme/use and dump strategy, so bear with me as I explain. You, the agent in Nigeria, and the Australian government/university are all involved.

The agent is chasing your money, specifically the consultation charge (above #150000) and the commission they receive. They are not there to help you; they are marketers selling a product. However, you must be smart in order to use them effectively and don't forget to conduct your own research. Agents will not inform you of the best course or location, they will simply tell you the nice things you want to hear. They are waiting for you to pay the fees and the school deposit.

The UNI/government these people also want your money; they will almost certainly admit you to courses that will not allow you to get PR at the end of the day, but they will also admit you to courses that will provide you PR as long as you pay. Education is one of the country's main sources of cash, so use your head instead of allowing them to utilise you.

Now, imagine you've spent thousands of dollars studying a meaningless course like accounting in a high-demand location like Sydney, and your age isn't working in your favour. What's your reward if you don't get PR? The two merely played you and used you, but if you obtain the PR after three years, you three will both use and dump each other, so be prepared before coming here and be wise GOODLUCK

Good day sir.

Pls what's the probability of getting a PR. First degree: Optometry in a private uni. Applying for masters in Optometry in UNSW, Sydney.

I await your reply. Thank you

Well, personally, I think whenever you feel your situation has changed. And again, if you have a good agent or immigration lawyer, you can contract one of the two to help you lodge your application.

Can you respond to these below?

The invoice does not contain info such as the NIBAN account number, swift code etc... and without inputing this numbers you cant proceed to the next step.
