Hello forward If you are convinced in your financial capacity to sponsor your self, then you do not need a sponsor... Self sponsored applicants get Visas like the sponsored applicants, there is no disadvantage at all in sponsoring yourself , just do your home work in convincing the Visa officer that indeed you won't have any issues in sponsoring and taking care of yourself all through your stay in Canada and if you are married, you must also show that despite the expenses of your schooling in Canada, you must show that you also have the funds to take care of the family you are leaving behind.. Peace Forwardxxx: |

Hello Bunmijab They are actually on your case as regards your Proof of funds/ declaration of sponsors.. In your application you claim your parents are your sponsor, but the Statement of Account they are seeing is the one for a 3rd party that wasn't declared in your application.. Make sure you submit your Parents(sponsor) SOA(Mbs) asap ad truthfully explain the Mix up, before they send you PFL or something related.. Peace Bunmijab: |

Hello house good evening to y'all, I defered my admission from January 2022 to September 2022 around January cos i'm still waiting for a decision from IRCC by the time classes started. My school sent me a new LOA for September 2022 today so i want to confrim if i should send my new LOA via webform to IRCC or should i wait for them to request for it as my eligibility is ongoing and don't know if sending it will delay my application or not. Also if i'm to send the new LOA via webform, should i also send it to the various IRCC emails or just the webform only? @Makano, @legaceyedition et all the gurus here plz help put me through...thanks. |

Is 6m enough to show as proof of funds in my sponsors account after paying first semester tuition fee, and having living expenses sent into my account. The 6m pof is just for balance of my tuition which is about 2.3m |

The VO is not interested in how you paid your tuition or how you funded your GIC account. Nelson2k: |

Hello Itzray If the LOA you submitted with your application isn't valid again, you can go ahead and submit the updated one... But if the submitted one is still valid, do not send the updated one until its no longer valid... When your Submitted LOA has expired, IRCC will definitely need to see an updated LOA from the applicant, so they will eventually request for an updated LOA, but you can as well submit even before they request... You can simultaneously send via Webform and Email, no offence in doing so. Peace ItzRay: |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by makano: 9:14pm On Feb 25, 2022 |
The bolded is not totally correct.. There are stages in checking the review of the eligibility of an applicant, so its not reasonable for a Visa Officer to start the Eligibility all over cos of the submission of an LOA.. The stage of LOA can be reviewed cos of the updated document but not the entirety of the Eligibility process.. Peace Teemenzo: |
