You don't have to drive when u get to uk, how you want drive self with different road signs that you have never see in Nigeria before. this is what they want to hear just to secure u job. Nigerian are not d only applicant, it open for qualified applicants all over d world and applications are being submitted every minutes. If u can't package yourself well they leave your application to next. you can't get a problem to travel from one service users to another in UK , the transportation system is superb over there, apart from public bus, train or tram. you can use taxi if it urgent.

Typically, before you can be issued a certificate of sponsorship (COS) by your potential employer. You must have been offered employment in the UK which meets the minimum pay for immigrants.

On accepting the offer, you go through some screening which varies amongst employers. Every employer/organization have specific onboarding activities which varies from background checks, filling of forms, signing some agreements etc.

You are expected to also have prove your knowledge of English language, TB test results (All this have been stated in the first post).

Once you submit all the necessary documents to your employer, they will start processing your COS. You don't have to do anything else but wait patiently till they send it to you. Once you receive the COS, you quote the COS ref number on your visa application.

Does the COS cost paid by the employer include your visa fee and healthcare surcharge or the visa applicant has to pay the fees when applying for the skilled worker visa?

Please after my interview I got a mail that I was accepted and that I show reply back if I accept the offer which I did but up till now o have gotten any feedback from them concerning my COS.

Since they are willing to sponsor and asking you to guide them, then do just that. Refer them to the uk gov website where they can get proper information and follow the guidelines. I am saying this because I am in the same shoes as you and the company is really following up.

Guys, I can volunteer to start contacting Nursing agencies. I only need to walk into their office and let them know my Sisters and brothers are willing to work. They are DESPERATELY short staffed in the UK and all agencies are looking for workers but the oyibos are not answering them because they get monetary benefits that pays more than full time Care job.

I will need to set up some sort of consultation on LinkedIn and can start meeting the Care and Nursing agencies soon ( Or even the NHS directly)
I believe they will ask for your application and forward their interest and pre employment letter to the home office too.
