There's someone in your shoes that went for his interview recently and he was given some days to provide the proof of funds.
When did you apply last year? I applied in January this year. With this issue of waiting for a year now, is it still advisable for one to start applying for admission now?

I recently got admission from Jacobs university in Germany only to discover that I wasn’t qualified for the Priority list. I am required by the university to pay an enrollment deposit of €500 with a deadline of 04/03/2022 to secure the admission in the program which is to kick off in September 2022. But, being part of the regular list, I would be given an appointment date in at least one year time. My question is this;
1) Do I go ahead to secure the admission?
2) Am scared I may not even be given an appointment date considering stories that I have heard
3) if eventually I am issued an appointment date, is there a guarantee that I could be given a visa?
NB: I intend to go with my family

You are aware that Jacobs University is a private university and you will be required to pay tuition fees right?

The choice is yours really, but I feel they're resuming the normal speed of operations again, so why risk it?

If you belong to Category B, after your appointment booking on their website, you'll have to wait for almost or more than a year before you are given an appointment date.

At least, that's what their website says.
