Tips for those getting started/ already in the gym:
1) Consistency > Size of weight
2) Light weight builds the body, heavy weight builds strength ( i highly recommend light weight for bench press)
3) Focus on one part of the body each day/week
4) Squat more..Never leave the gym without doing squats/lunges ( laps & calves take time to build)
5) Gym is 20%... Food is 40%, rest 30% and stress level 10%.
6) Dont try to look like a bouncer in 2 months, you can still be gyming at 60.. Build your tolerance level..
7) Finally, for those who dont have fat, whey protein helps, but i prefer raw eggs( take at least 2 raw eggs after the day's session. You can add milk to the raw eggs to make it sweeter and more nutritious) ..

Just a lil correction, light weight don't build, instead it keeps the gains. If you want to build don't lift light,lift heavy but not too heavy. Muscles grow when challenged and heavy weights challenge these muscles. If you're trying to build your biceps, you don't curl a 10kg dumbbell or 20kg barbell whenever you visit the gym and expect your biceps to grow. Instead you lift heavier weights than before,e.g if you did 20kg barbell curl 2 X 10reps today, you should aim to do a 25kg barbell curl 2 X 12reps on your next workout. Keep increasing the weights and reps,that way your muscles will be challenged to lift more which leads to more growth. My take...

Do not put your trust in celebrities workout and diets. Almost all of them are on steriods, they just lie about that chicken, brocolli and all that raw egg nonsense. Just maintain a "slight" clean food calorie surplus and use weight to utilize that calorie for a good body

Well, everyone has what works for them...
For me, someone benching ( works with dumbbell too) 30-50 of a lighter weight would build faster and more firmer than someone stacking up heavy weight and benching only 5-10.. Light weight also increases your tolerance, because you know its light, even if you are tired, you can keep going...
Heavy weight, you gas out faster, once you bathe, everything wey you pump don wash off ..
I only prefer heavy weight for squatting or leg programs..
At the end, everyone has what works for them
