if you back up to your google acct, could be your best bet. Clear whatsapp data & cache or reinstall whatsapp so you can restore from your google account on setup.

I use Gb WhatsApp so I don't backup to Google account cry

Waow! I did foresee it, especially when upgrading to a new android version. Will require a lil' time for both hardware and software to sync properly.
But what sort of errors are u faced with at the moment?

Sometimes it is not the device, it is the person using the device to take those pictures.

I have downloaded the update manually and extracted but the files are not highlighted for selection.

No one or no were in the instructions asked you to extract the zip file. The updater does the extraction on its own.

Read instructions carefully next time.

Seems it is just your own 9s though, been using mine Going to 2 years nd i still prefer it to my samsung A51.....

Geniuses in the house, I complained about phone tripping off problem after the MIUI 13 upgrade.

I've found the trigger point... If my volume is loud and I listen to a sound, it trips off..

Note, this never happened before, until the bug filled update huh

That statement bug filled is wrong. Backup and do a factory reset.

Even Phartamsy that used the first pilot ROM 13.0.2 never experienced such.

Download full rom, update and do a factory reset

Just updated the security patch for January for Redmi 9, Enhanced version. Device feels so much smoother and faster like 90 Hz refresh rate. So improvement was also added like new icons etc.
