Good morning my good people of nairaland. As I type these now, my wife is in FMC asaba she was admitted since yesterday. Her BP is 140/100 and the doctors carried a urine test on her, they saw protein in the urine. According to her, the doctor told her the protein is 1 percent. Now the doctor is talking about terminating the baby which we refuse. I dont base in Nigeria, because of this baby, I have to spend 5 months in Nigeria just to make sure everything is fine. Please guys is terminating the baby the only options for us. I need this baby so badly. Help me and my wife.

No.. No worries dear... LO is safe... Sm pipu tends to discharge more during pregnancy.... I was discharging lik tap water in my previous pregnancy... Very uncomfortable smtin... N i nva 4 once hv an infectn... All was clear.

M team May. 27weeks pregnant. I registered antenatal in a private hospital before especially becos it's my Hmo and Its weekends that is my antenatal days but since I resigned my family has told me to go and register with general hospital.
Gbagada general is the closest to me. I went there in my first month of pregnancy and I didn't like the way they behaved to me but this one my mum and everybody has been shouting at me to go to Gbagada Pls is anyone using gbagada pls help with review or what do I need to know abt the place(tho am not happy to go sha cos of the first impression they gave me) but my mum and family won't let me hear word

i use gbagada General Hospital for all my deliveries (CS). They have competent Gynaecologists but u have to endure the attitude of some of the female staffs. I think it’s their way in most general hospitals though they also have nice female staffs but in all their services is not so bad.

We are doin well oh. This trimester is supposed to be honeymoon phase right?

Because all I've seen is heartburn, really bad back and pelvic pain, peeing all the time, insomnia, congestion and waddling like penguin.
I can eat and get hungry in 30 minutes but I can't drink water to help my life.

I'm yet to start ANC. Even if I start, I'm 100% sure I won't take any antimalarial drug. Will be going for my last TT injection for life on 10th.

Abeg, how do you people even enjoy other room activities? It's a cat and mouse game between me and Oga now

EDD is 28th June. Went for scan but pikin cross leg dey form. I might eventually just choose to be team green if she no wan cooperate..

Have u registered? Registration is always on Wednesday, then u will need to bring your spouse later for blood donation to complete the registration. Do all your vitals. Registration and test goes for like 10k which will be deducted from your delivery fee during delivery. General hospital is no longer cheap. Vaginal delivery at Gbagada is 50k while CS is 110k minus all the buy buy. They just introduced urine check fee of 200naira this new month at every antenatal. It used to be free. Antenatal is either on mondays or Thursdays but u can visit anytime of the day/week if u have emergency complaints. I hope this helps.

This heat is too much, I can't sleep well at night...Nepa isn't helping matters at all... No fuel to even put on the gen, body pain everywhere...I made my hair on Sat, I had to loose it in the middle of the night yesterday because I wasn't myself at all, I had to hold myself not cut the hair join sef... My body just they pepper me .. Please April do fast and come lemme get myself ooh...

Like seriously, I hail mamas that makes different kinda of hairstyles, maybe they use A.C at home shaa cos the weaving on my head is overdue for loosing but I'm not ready to let anyone touch my head neither am I ready to be combing every day so I left it like that.

How's this trimester treating us generally?
Hope we are taking our prenatal drugs judiciously? Please let's do that o. I hope we eat lots of fruits often.. as for me I don't even like fruits again, I wonder why lol .
