‘Osimhen won’t say no to Madrid’ Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen won’t say no to Real Madrid if the right offer comes from the Spanish giants, PUNCH Sports Extra reports. According to reports in Italy and Spain, the Nigeria international is seen by Madrid as a Plan B should they fail to land Erling Haaland in the summer, with the Norwegian a transfer interest for several other European clubs, including Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. Haaland is one of the top targets for the Spanish side, but according to recent reports, they will most likely be going for the striker next summer, after advising him to spend one more season with Borussia Dortmund. Osimhen joined Napoli in the summer of 2020 for an African record price of €81m and has been a revelation for the Naples-based side this campaign, scoring 11 goals in 22 games despite suffering from a facial fracture and COVID-19. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has since estimated the Nigerian to be worth €100m, a price Madrid may be unwilling to pay, according to Italian journalist Fabio Santini. Santini has also explained that if Madrid were to make a proposal, Osimhen would not say no, as he sees it as an upgrade on Napoli. The 23-year-old is one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe and has drawn interest from some of the biggest English Premier League sides including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool amongst other top European sides. https://punchng.com/osimhen-wont-say-no-to-madrid/ 1 Like |

Subzero47: I actually don't think he just suddenly improved. He has had this ability to dictate play, because he has very high awareness of his surrounding. This was me lauding him in September last year. zuchyblink:But I think the coach advised him to leave orchestrating to Tielemans and Maddison. You will notice he uncharacteristically lost lots of possession in the second half and has only been doing this with the young Drewsbrehall as the AM. |

No player has won more penalties than Osimhen in Europe top leagues. He has won 4x more penalties than Mbappe, Haaland, Vlahovic, Jonathan David, Lautaro, and Abraham combined. Not your typical striker. 13 Likes 4 Shares

What I liked about Ndidi yesterday was although he lost so many balls he is actively trying to help his teammates in possession instead of hiding from them |

lbrichman2: Funny enough, he is the only one of those players yet to take a penalty. Imagine he took only the penalties he won, would be on 11 league goals, and 5th on Serie scoring charts. Imagine he was their designated pk taker, he would have scored 17. Vlahovic has taken 6 pks this season. 2 Likes |

TheLoneCitizen: Oga what makes you think he will score those pk ? It’s easier said than done Vlahović has taken only 5 pk at seria A ,remove vlahovic pk and nobody still has more goals than him Without pk Vlahović will be on 15 goals on par with immobile and Giovanni simeone ,so you better stop this agenda you are trying to create Vlahovic won’t be juve pk taker at least 2 Likes |

La Liga giants Real Madrid have started identifying alternative targets in the event they fail to land Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland. According to reporting by Fussballtransfers, Fabio Santini, an expert on the transfer market, said on the TV channel '7 Gold' that Osimhen is also linked with a summer move to Real Madrid, as a back-up option if they miss out on the signature of the Norwegian who is wanted by almost all the super clubs in Europe. Despite spending two months on the sidelines due to a facial injury, the Nigeria national teamer has notched 11 goals in 22 appearances so far this season. Napoli have no plans to sell their record acquisition except they receive a bid in the region of one hundred million euros. 2020 European champion Lorenzo Insigne has agreed to join MLS outfit Toronto FC on a free transfer in the summer and Napoli don't want to lose any of their key players ahead of a possible participation in next season's UEFA Champions League. There is also talk of Manchester United and Newcastle United interest in Osimhen, who has a contract with Napoli until June 30, 2025. |

85.7% of Osimhen's goals this season have opened the scoring for Napoli. The highest percentage of any player to have scored at least 7 goals in the Serie A. And also 4 times higher than Erling Haaland. Leader. 2 Likes |

charlesemeka85:I don't know if the PR this boy has been doing lately is necessary, you don't need to pay media houses large sum before these big teams will get you signed, these big teams are not fools your stats is going to speak for you not unnecessary paid articles, of all the outstanding strikers and attacking midfielders this campaign is it an injury prone 7 goals striker that the likes of Madrid, Bayern Manchester United, ATM, Arsenal and all would sign? When there are tens of good not too popular strikers across europe with 10, 15-20 league goals. Even in the Serie A where he ply his trade, boy is not in top 20 top scorers. I doubt if A rated teams would pay huge money on a striker that hasn't score 15 league goals in his career, when they can get top players like Mbappe, Haaland and other good forwarders like ; Ben yedder Vlahovic Patrick Schick Darwin Nunez Moussa Diaby Karim Adeyemi Christopher Nkunku Jonathan David Tammy Abraham Lautaro Martinez A certain Christopher Nkunku has been brilliant this season, an attacking midfielder with more than 20 goals this season and man his not even getting 1/20 of hype our 7 league goals striker has been getting on this thread. 5 Likes |

7 goals in 17 Serie A games from a striker signed for a huge sum of money is not good, not even fair. And some bums on this thread are posting transfer news from unknown media outlets linking him with Top clubs. 5 Likes |

144 minutes per goal for Taiwo Awoniyi in the bundesliga this season. 169 minutes per goal for Victor Osimhen in the Serie a this season And these mumu people would spend pages upon pages singing the praises of this boy even when he's not scoring, Taiwo with a better goals ratio playing for a lowly rated union berlin only get mentions when he scores. 3 Likes |
