Nigeria international Ola Aina is preparing to bid farewell to Italian Serie A club Torino in the summer. According to Calciomercato (via Footballnews24), Torino would like to sell the Chelsea academy product at the end of the 2021-2022 season and have set a price tag of ten million euros for the versatile wing-back. Aina was close to a departure from the Maroons in the January transfer window but a proposed switch was halted by the injury suffered by Mohamed Fares few days after his arrival at Torino. Torino are confident of reaching an agreement with an English Premier League for the sale of the Nigerian when the transfer window reopens. Since returning from Africa Cup of Nations duty with the Super Eagles, Aina has fallen out of favour with no minutes under his belt, an indication that his future in Turin looks bleak. French champions Lille are interested in signing Aina but are facing competition from West Ham United and Crystal Palace for his services. This website understands that Torino have opened talks with Aina and his minders on his exit from the Italian Serie A club this summer. |

Danielnino00:If your opinion of football experts is a six line writeup to convince me that a striker is not a center forward then I beg to differ , maybe if you had been watching football with common sense and knowledgeable about the sport you wouldn't need a football 'expert' to tell you which is which |

do4luv14:If a referee doesn't referee well then they should be corrected and queried and suspended.. Not picking any of the good ones is a shame.. African referees and refereeing will not improve if they pick referees from other continents.. the point of creating African sports competition is to improve and empower Africans.. |

In-form Championship side Luton Town are back in action this evening as they take on world champions Chelsea in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup at Kenilworth Road in Bedfordshire. Hatters central defender Gabriel Osho has claimed that he is not scared of Chelsea who have in their ranks AFCON winner édouard Mendy, European champion Jorginho and world champion N'Golo Kante among other world-class players. One player in the Chelsea squad that the Reading-born Nigerian star looks up to is the experienced Brazilian center back Thiago Silva. Osho has helped Luton Town pick up six wins in their last seven matches across all competitions and is looking forward to facing the Premier League giants. "I"m a big fan of Thiago Silva, he’s a brilliant player," Osho was quoted as saying by Luton Today. "There’ll be no respect shown during the game though, we’ll be doing everything we can to win and be as physical as we can to win the game." If selected by manager Nathan Jones, it would be the first time in Osho's career he has faced a team in the top-flight. |
