The first thing any coach needs to add to this team is the energy and mentality to win even when not having a good day. We don't need players that sulk and lose it when they miss a chance or don't have things going as planned. Instead we need the ones that will fight for the next chance immediately. We probably play the slowest football in Europe currently

Barcelona that was even more useless than this team before are have improved suddenly. When I watched their last game cause of a friend that is their fan. I had no doubt that they will destroy us with the way we are playing now. Their owners now look serious now while our board care more about their other things. They sacked their former coach and took time before getting a new one. This club had to wait to sack ole that was destroying this club before getting an old man that taught nobody anything. Manchester United needs help

You people come here to eulogize just because of winning streak. It's doesn't mean anything. There was a time united was topping the league around last year, where are we now?

To those it may concern.....

The criticisms of DDG are not hate. It’s a realistic analysis of what his skill set is and whether that is a net positive to the team (or it’s progression).

People seem to forget he joined the club 10+ years ago and over that period the GK position as evolved the most out of any position on the pitch.

Shot prevention is now prioritised over shot stopping.

You want to play a high octane pressing system with a high line, get you a keeper that can commit to defensive actions outside of his box.

You want to create a numerical advantage in build up, get you a keeper that can use his feet.

You want to be better protected from set pieces and crosses, get you a keeper that can claim crosses.

DDG is less than average at these things but this season his shot stopping has been so elite that he’s been a net positive to the teams defence (whilst still being part of the issue as to why we can’t control games through poor distribution and poor sweeping)

Personally I want a better well rounded keeper that helps with shot prevention (sweeping, possession etc) it’s getting to the point where having your GK not involved in build up isn’t a choice anymore.
