joey150: Dude, are you not aware that solar and wind have reached parity with other sources and in many countries even cheaper? The battery is not meant to 100% cover at night. It's just a way to smoothen demand and supply curves and keep the system going, especially during peak demand. COMPAQ: You see the reason why Nigeria is backward, we dont have the economic brain power to analyze stuffs. What determines "cheap and expensive"? is it not what you get vs what you spend. If Anambra manages her gas well, and return the dividends to Anambra, you think they cant pay for more comfortably? In the US petrol is about 4$ per liter (2k Naira) but Nigeria paying 250 Naira for fuel is more expensive because, the people dont get 250 Naira easily. Like I said, only when States manages there resources, that Nigeria will make sense. For now, Peter is been robbed to settle Paul. |
