Toceen2022:I will advise you consider other school options. This style is prone to be tagged fraudulent. I bet you, their next response is for you to pay so so. |

Anon123:Thank you very much boss, I've applied to Fanshawe and Conestoga already... Fanshawe has given me admission, and Conestoga put me on waitlist. But I want to get a response from University of Manitoba and University of Victoria before proceeding with any college admission! |

Toceen2022:Awesome... Did you apply to Fanshawe using an agent? If yes, did the agent claim he/she is to handle your visa application as well? Your reply will help someone here thats about to be scammed. |

Good evening my awesome people, Please, I need suggestions. I have a very short time frame. My school resumes in May. For my proof of funds, I want to include Gift deed of cad $11000 from my sibling and maternal Uncle's wife would stand as my sponsor. Does she need to send the money to my account and I indicate the source in my SOA or I should just get a letter of sponsorship. Also for the gift deed, would it be better to transfer it to a Canadian student account? Pls , I need answers on how best to present a strong application. It's urgent. Regards! |

Iykevirgo:If she wants to stand as your sponsor which is majorly known as 3rd party sponsor, it will be appropriate for her to show some commitments by depositing some funds to your account. |

Menaluv:I did everything, and paid. I got a payment receipt that shows they received the application fee. It was after that they started the story of referring me to an agent. See the mail attached below

Anon123:Yes, I used an agent (applyboard) for the admission. But they never claim they'll handle the visa application. They only provide a space to upload the visa approval letter when I've received the visa. Since they serve as an intermediary between applicant and school. |

Hello Iyke You didn't state who is your main sponsor and Co-sponsor, but with your write up, I wanna assume your sibling is your main sponsor and your maternal Uncle's wife is your Co-sponsor... Now, the deed gift is very important and the money can be sent to your account and let it be clearly stated in your documents what that amount is meant for i.e Tuition fees, Living expenses e.t.c. Make sure your Sponsor states this in his or her Letter of sponsorship, that a particular amount has been sent to the applicant's account purposely for the tuition or living expenses as the case may be, make sure the particular amount is mentioned and if necessary the date of the transaction, this will eliminate the concerns of lump sum.. You should also reciprocate this in your Proof of funds/Finance section in your SOP, also draw their attention to the gift deed.. Make sure you both are well detailed in your explanation.. I hope this helps.. Peace Iykevirgo: |

Toceen2022:You are right, applyboard never claim that, I applied to Fanshawe through them, funny enough I didn’t pay a dime. The application is free. |

Why not post the screenshot of the officer’s notes here so that people can better understand ( note: just the refusal notes). Mask any confidential information. Meanwhile, consider the following: Let your brother do an affidavit of sponsorship Pay at least one-semester tuition fee Your brother should transfer some funds into your account, with a gift deed Submit proof of previous financial assistance from him and show proof of other ways that he has supported you, such as attending important events in your life Family pictures Assets Letter from any organization you belong to Most importantly, write an excellent SOP mimidarling: |

makano:Thank you so much for the clarification. I would've loved to speak with you. I have lots of questions. I can't afford to make any mistakes in the application. I'm guessing some of my questions would have been answered previously. But I joined recently and time's not on my side. To address the issue of sponsorship. My sibling seem to be the co-sponsor. The gift deed from him only covers living expenses. While the bulk of the money i.e tuition of at $43k is from my aunt, thus making her the main sponsor. Or would it be better she stands as the only sponsor and send the living expenses to my acc, then state in the letter that the tuition would be sent once I arrive Canada. |
