Oddfinder: 1.Oil prices are higher, meaning that fracking becomes more profitable, meaning the US can and will survive without Russian oil. 2.Russia's problem is also shown in the tweet...it is dependent on oil exports. That's a blessing and a curse. 4 Likes |

CharleyBright: USA did worse. They invaded Iraq claiming that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. Bombing it repeatedly over 40 days, toppling it's govt, same for Libya, Afghanistan. Yet they're demonizing Russia and using sanctions against Putin. Libya's destruction is what's causing insecurities in Nigeria and other African countries since all these years. The Western world is hypocrisy personified 13 Likes 2 Shares |

dalass: 1.US went nowhere near Libya. (Obama wanted to, but Congress threatened him with impeachment low key) 2.Russia also imposed its will on many European countries after WW2, with invasions (Hungary 1956, Czechia 1968, and threatened Poland in 1981, which led Jaruzelski to impose martial law to preemtively stop them), invaded Afghanistan in 1979, and also basically ran an empire called the USSR till 1991. And then there is Chechnya and Georgia. 13 Likes 1 Share |

COdeGenesis: Yes, but let's be honest, Putin is just acting like a normal Russian leader. Russia has been invaded over its wide borders for centuries. Any Russian leader has to be paranoid...it's how they keep the country safe. Also, Russia has been too too oil dependent. |

Oddfinder: Yes, being oil dependent does not mean you cannot export other things (Nigeria does export agro produce, and some minerals). It is just that Russia is far more dependent on oil than it should be. I wish that Russia was exporting more and more of tech and less and less of oil. Also, agricultural exports, are basically, like oil. Prices rise and fall because everyone does agriculture. 2 Likes |

COdeGenesis:Lol.. For the sake of clarity, Russia have been under sanctions since God knows wen. Now Russia were under some sanctions before they invaded Ukraine. Infact apart from north korea,Russia comes next as the most sanctioned country..they became stronger and daring even with all the sanctions. It don't mean shit 5 Likes 1 Share |

Oddfinder: 1,Obama went nowhere near Libya. The libya thing was more of France and the UK. (US had a minor role, but they did not do more because the US then was a bit leery of foreign intervention) 2.And no, I did not support the Libya intervention. While I don't like Ghaddafi, my opinion on Libya, Afghansitan, etc is that change has to come from within, not by invasion. The US changed on civil rights not because some other country invaded them, but because people did the hard work from within to change. 3.And Russia does similar, and yes, I don't like it either. 5 Likes 1 Share |

EdiskyHarry: And what will the Ukrainians do when they "wake up": side with Russia against the West? The same West that is helping Ukraine economically and militarily up to this moment, if Western sanctions can cripple Russia, how much less is the Ukraine? USA will eventually come into this war but not until other options have been exhausted. If there is one thing this Ukraine-Russia war has taught me, is that racism has a strong ramification in the global politics and alliances today. Russia couldn't have tried this in Western European countries or even Georgia and Poland without NATO and USA's swift intervention. 1 Like |

darediamond: Can u prove that the west already have nukes in Ukraine? Also I'm certain that if Russia is a good neighbour Ukraine won't be running away from them. Do u also know that historical Russia has always being suppressing the Ukrainian people and forcing them to be Russians.... Originally No Russia Speaking people lived in Ukraine not up until the 19th century when Russia drove Ukrainians out of their lands and replaced them with Russians..... Under stalin millions of Ukrainians where starved to death...... 90% of Ukrainians in 1991 voted to leave the USSR. My point here is Ukrainians don't want to align with Russia... So don't make it look as though the west is forcing Ukraine away from Russia 6 Likes |
