I don’t even understand the olden days scenario you are painting here.
My mother worked full time, contributed financially with my dad, still had time to take care of me and my siblings and she even wanted to help my dad with some money to help him complete building his second house in his hometown, but my dad politely refused because he knew she had made a lot of financial contributions to our family.

So I don’t know where this “BEFORE women used to stay at home” is coming from.

You use US to judge the West. I have stayed in Canada, been to Germany, Belgium, Italy....their kids are well behave.

I'm not talking of exceptions I'm talking about the majority. I have family all over the U.S, Canada and Europe. The shit no Nigerian parent would accept is considered normal abroad. For example, in Europe, kids shout at their parents all the time, majority are popping mollies and constantly getting high and having wild sex with zero to little protection, in Germany, Luxembourg and Portugal you can drink alcohol from age 16 . Kids all over Europe are getting hooked on Cannabis every year and it will only get worse. Progressives call it enlightenment and freedom but its all madness!

Okay, you're against gender equality. Guy, there's nothing wrong for a woman to work. Advanced countries that we're copying today have working women. However, there are daycare institutions that do the home work of kids in such places. But in Africa, we're still behaving like the animal world where women are reduced to kitchen duties and the other room. It's not bad to have the women at home taking care of kids but for a woman with dreams to better the society, she's beyond domestic duties and stopping them can hinder society growth.

Globally, more and more women are entering the workforce. A single source of family income is becoming less affordable by the day worldwide. Most families in the US and Europe have 2 working couples.

When more women work, the economies grow.
