On the taiwan issue, while it sounds cool, China is not going to invade Taiwan, as much as we china fanboys and girls want it to.

Taiwan has a security agreement with the US. Once it is attacked, the US is obliged to intervene on its behalf, (yes, even with Sleepy granpa in charge, and sleepy has shown no signs of repudiating the agreement).

Also, a war can hit China economically. US would just pull its manufacturing away, and while the US may miss its cheap chinese goods, it would harm china more.

At the end, while China wants taiwan in the fold, it's not a fight that is worth it.

USA going against China because of Taiwan, I can only imagine what USA is going to benefit from that. Lol.
When China is ready, I'm sure that USA will have a rethink if it really worth it. I'm sure that when USA was reaching agreement with Taiwan, most of the USA manufacturing companies were not in China, USA wasn't that immensely indebted to China and China military capability was nothing to write about at the time. Many things have changed between that time and now.
Ask yourself why USA envoy is going to China over issue, they equally know what is at stake should China invade Taiwan, and USA has to be compelled to step in.

China is already recognized as a sovereign country by the following 15 nations so far:

Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, Paraguay, Nicaragua, Eswatini, Tuvalu, Nauru, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Marshall Isalnds, Palau, and the Vatican City (U.N. non-member).

Besides a quick question to you. If Taiwan wasn't independent why do they run citizenship programs? Would a country that isn't sovereign offer you citizenship of that country? If China owned Taiwan Shouldn't China own the citizenship as well?

I think the problem you have is the fact that Taiwan is also called THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA (ROC) However do not let that deceive you because that is separate from CHINA that you know which is known as PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA (PRC)

Taiwan is ROC while China is PRC

Taiwan as a soverign country has its own passport which is different from China

Find attached first the passport for Taiwan and second the passport for China
