Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ItsFolake(f): 5:14pm On Mar 06, 2022
Hi Topmc,

In the ‘new portal’, there is a place that asks if you’ve done your medical within the past one year and if ‘YES’, it requests for the UMI number, did you provide this information?

If you did then rest assured they have that detail with them.

Topmc:
It's a reapplication and submitted February 20th, 2022 and did medical last year August. I'm yet to get update from IRCC.

Happy Sunday everyone.
Just stumbled on this forum few mints ago. Pls permit me to ask few questions on behalf of my bro who’s a first time applicant.

He’s admission is for May 22 intake.
Did Online application (not sure if old/new site)12 feb 22 ✅
Did Biometric 19 feb 22 ✅

He got a medical request letter on 5 March 22.
Eligibility review showing “checking 4 eligibility”.
He was able to get a medical date for 29 March.

Please, my questions are:
1) With d medical request, is he likely to get PPR? (If passed)
IF YES,
A) is there any time frame 4 PPR after medicals?
B) with session due to start early May, can he make it or seek for deferral?

Finally, what’s the next step/advice from this point? Thank y’ll and God bless

Hi guys

Please how long does it take a package to get to Canada from Nigeria via FedEx or Courier plus.

I want my school to send my official transcript to university of Manitoba and they use FedEx or Courier plus.

Thanks

Hello Kingsley

1. When an applicant gets a Medical request, the probability of getting an approval is very high, lets say 90% chance of getting an Approval..

A. No Timeframe, some get their PPR months after Medical Passed, some get their PPR weeks after Medical passed, so it depends..

B. I will advise that if he doesn't get PPR latest 3rd week of April, he should defer his admission to a Later date.. And when he gets an updated LOA, he should forward it to IRCC.

The next step is for you to be patient after doing your medicals for at least 2 weeks, if after the 3rd week of Passing the medical examination and no response from IRCC, you can start sending mails to the IRCC offices as regards your application, let your reason be majorly on your close resumption date..

Peace

hello @makano
Thanks a lot.
I’ll update the group with what he did once the PPR drops.
Part of it was building account over a year using a “company’s account” 2 transfer in and transfer out to other accounts.

Trust everyone is doing great...

I got a refusal letter yesterday after ircc sent correspondence letter two days ago..

Refusal was based on 1.assets and financial status and 2. Travel history.

I ordered for my Gcms notes a week ago, will the notes carry the concerns of the V.O. since I was updated just yesterday? Or I will need to order a new one

So sorry to hear. Stay strong. It will end in praise.

Wow!
To the bolded how is it possible cos i've not seen or heard of anyone getting PPR without upfront medical or medical request?

Legacyedition:

It has happened with someone before .

Here is his situation.

He got ppr without medical.

He sent his passport for stamping

Passport got stamped

He did his medical

He sent it to ircc.

Ircc requested his passport again so that the medical can be on his TRV .

He sent the passport again

The old one was cancelled just like yours.

A new visa was stamped on his passport.

I hope this helps.

Wow!
This is soul lifting and inspiring.
Congratulations sir.
I'm going to testify like you someday and soon...amen! cry

Time2soar1:
Hallelujah! God has done it.
Got PPR today after almost 10 months

Timeline

First application refused January 29th 2021

Second application submitted May 22nd 2021
Eligibility started May 31st 2021
Ghost update June 3rd 2020
Medical expires August 2021
New medical updated to pass September 2021
Correspondence letter March 3rd 2022
PPR March 3rd 2022
Age over 50 years

First refusal reason was purpose of study and personal assets and finance. In my reapplication, for purpose of study I used sub categories in my statement of purpose such as introduction, why the program, why the school and a specific section on the purpose and benefit of the study. Though I stated all this in the first application I emphasis it more in the second application.

For personal asset and finance, I submitted bank statement and mutual fund investment letter like the first application but this time I liquidated part of my mutual fund investment into my bank account to make sure the money in my bank account is more than the total money I budget for the study for myself and my family then I sent MBS of the bank account and then a new investment letter with the outstanding fund in my mutual fund investment.
I also attached valuation report of my land.

Most importantly I prayed to God for the approval. I give God all the glory because after the first refusal I almost gave up because I though age is against me. More so, I have two Masters degree already and I am going for another Master program but I committed it into God hand and He came through for me.

While waiting I requested GCMS twice but nothing was in them, eligibility shows "review required"

I hope this encourages someone.

Hi,

Good chance I would say (assuming it's a postgraduate diploma). You just need to explain why you are doing the course and fulfill other study permit requirements.

Hello Gurus in the house

I have a tough question for you guys.

I have a Canada Visitor visa but I am planning to apply for student permit when I get to Canada. I won't have enough time to apply for study permit in Nigeria as my College starts next Month. Is this idea possible?

I can't defer my course as the next available date is September 2023.

Hello emma

There is no special template, its just a normal way of writing a formal letter.. Just make sure your concerns are clearly stated to the MP as regards your delayed application.. Remember MPs are not IRCC officials, they are members of parliaments who will stand in for you as a potential resident of their province, they will on your behalf enquire about your delayed application from IRCC, they have a direct communication with iRCC, so they get instant response from IRCC.. So they are actually helping you in getting a quick response from IRCC as regards your delayed application, they are not the ones working on your application i.e IRCC officers, so you should know how to construct your write up..

Make sure you are polite with your write up and go straight to the point, no tooo much stories cos these people are really busy.. Also make sure you include your UCI and also your Application number in your write up...

Good luck.

Peace

Thanks boss!

Is it advisable to send multiple emails to each of them?

Yes you can..

I always recommend 5 mails daily, and 3 in the night...

If you feel this can be an overdose, then you can stick to the 5 times daily..

I have applicants who have actually tried this overdose and got updates from IRCC in no time...

Peace

Hi...
Out of curiosity, why attach the US refusal letter.
And what reason was given for the refusal..

Well...we thought being upfront about it would make more sense hence why we attached it.

Reason for the refusal was home ties. We didn't provide enough evidence that he'd return back Nigeria. Visa was for Visiting.

I began my immigration process initially in June 2021 and to ensure things went to plan, I sourced out the packaging of my profile to an agent who had assured me that he was knowledgeable and experienced in the Canadian immigration process so I could rest easy. After a tedious process and a shabby profile package this guy put together for me, my application was refused by the Canadian Embassy on the 23rd of September, 2021 on grounds of purpose of visit, limited employment prospects and not truthfully answering questions asked of me. That was my first refusal and I became very much distraught.

In my quest for a re-application, I got wind of @Frankrobbn1 services, the MD/CEO of fandrglobal.com, through numerous testimonies. Due to my previous encounter with agents I was initially skeptical about him but once I contracted his services, my story changed for the better. He was the angel sent to me by God to turn my story around from sorrow to joy.

Truly, Mr. Frank is one agent who I can assure you is worth his salt. Once I contracted his services, he calmed me down and asked me to place my confidence in his expertise while promising me that he would strategically tackle the grounds for refusal claimed by the IRCC. I initially had a huge fear about my program being flagged as I was applying for a PGD program while holding two Master's degree in MBA and International Law & Diplomacy from OAU and UNILAG respectively but Mr. Frank assured me while my profile presented certain peculiarities, he would be able to sell the necessity of my program and I should trust his services which I did and lo and behold! I now proudly celebrate my approval.

@Frankrobbn1 the good Lord will continue to bless you for me. You are truly one of the few out there who truly are knowledgeable in their craft. I bless the day I came across your services. For those reading this and questioning if they should contract @Frankrobbn1's services, I don't know what your previous experiences are but one thing I can assure you is that it would be the best decision you will make in your canadian immigration journey. I do not regret any money I spent in procuring his expert services as it proved to be worth every penny and more I spent.

Thank you all for the correspondence and assistance being given on this platform for aspiring immigrants. I wish everyone expecting updates positive responses. Keep at it, it will end in praise for everyone.

Please attach all previous refusals. Failure to do so could be termed as misinterpretation. Because whether you attach it or not, they will know. That's the purpose of info sharing. So not attaching it means you are not giving full details of the applicant and could result to a ban.

My opinion.
