someone was there interceding on your behalf before you decide to pick up your cross to follow him. if this individual or individuals weren't there to do the intercessory work you might not have being saved yet.

'for all have sin and fall short of the glory of God', yet He gave His only Son to die for the sin of the entire earth not some few. for as many that are save only got there by grace, 'SAVED BY GRACE'.

come to think of it He came not because of the saved ones but for those that are lost and not yet in the fold. the more reason Christianity don't win souls like in the past is just that we Christians has monopolised Christ the Saviour to be a thing (only for the saved), whereas it's the other way round. (John 1:12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

here is a sister that believe, do you expect her to curse the brother just that he's not yet saved, I guess your answer would be on the affirmative. she did the right thing, it's the duty of the heavens to decide.

I remembered that story, be it fictional of true, a woman who had a wayward daughter, that was set to go clubbing with friends as usual. while in the car the woman told the daughter and her friends, Jesus be with them but daughter responded, the cabin to the car is filled if only Jesus can manage in the trunk of the car. there was an accident involving the car all died but not single egg from the crates of eggs in the trunk got cracked. yet the woman prayed for a wayward daughter that wasn't saved even when in waywardness.

we shouldn't make serving God look so herculean to the unsaved. He loved them, He need them and He want them in His Kingdom.

Jesus is no rubber stamp, yet he loved all sinners and chose to die for them. He didn't come to earth because of the believers neither did die because of the saved but for the sinners.
