What could be the problem.

Please help its urgent.

Your naira debit card can not make a payment of more than $100. Therefore you might need to source for another TRUSTWORTHY MEANS of payment or I can do that for you.

Hello Gurus in the house

I have a tough question for you guys.

I have a Canada Visitor visa but I am planning to apply for student permit when I get to Canada. I won't have enough time to apply for study permit in Nigeria as my College starts next Month. Is this idea possible?

I can't defer my course as the next available date is September 2023.

You plan is very okay and your app will be processed faster since you are resident in Canada. You are to fill the form "Application within Canada" not "Application outside Canada".

A lady I assisted in canada on a visiting visa has gotten a Passport request last week.

Processing time was a month.

You research on schools that meets your budget. Ensure you FAMILIARIZE YOUR SELF WITH THE SCHOOLS REFUND POLICY(very important).

Then study the thread for the relevant requirements.

When did you submit your application?
Hope your medicals isn't over 1 year already because it would have expired and you would have to do another one

If it has not expired, you can remind them through webform and mail and they will update it in your portal.

The medicals I did last year May 30th was suppose to expire by April but I noticed on my GCMS note the medicals I did would expire by June 6th. I implore you guys who have gotten your notes to check through for the expiry date of your medical cause I believe that's the date IRCC uses.

Good morning house, please am in a fix, my school (University of New Brunswick) refused me a deferral to May. I have appealed and appealed yet no positive response. Sadly, passport stamped but no updated Letter of Acceptance.

The question now is; Is it possible to get admission for another school to resume May or are all deadlines close?

Can I travel with my January Letter of acceptance?

Please, I need all the help I can get.

Hi gaeul,

UNB intakes date for MBA is January and September maybe thats why they have refused to defer to May so you can appeal to them to defer to September and see if that works.

It would be too late to resume for January (winter) semester now because the semester is already rounding up and you may not be able to catch up with classes.

I pray you are able to get this sorted.

All the best!

Hey Anon123

Did u apply via old or new portal

Anon123:
It seems new applications once submitted goes straight to eligibility review.

Applied for two persons last 2weeks and there are both on eligibility review.

Hi Anon 123,
Please can you please point me to the right section to attach travel history documents (previous passports and stamped pages) on an application?

Previous passports please NOT applicant's current passport.. Applicant's current passport is a new passport.

Hello good day every one, i hope you all are holding up well.
It's all going to end in praise.

Please i will like to know if there is any body who applied to college of the North Atlantic here.

Please they requested for extra documents; proof that I'm done with secondary school and secondary school transcripts.

I sent my testimonial to them with my Ss1 to Ss3 transcript.

Please i will like to know if that's okay or do i need to go to my secondary school for them to send these documents by them self.

Thank you all

Its part of their background check on you and your activities, nothing special..

Be rest assured they have also touched on your Facebook profile and also Twitter..

Peace

So I check my LinkedIn every night (it’s a weird habit, which I don’t know when I developed). Last night I checked it as usual and I saw that someone from the Government of Canada checked my profile. I hope this is good news.

Thanks Makano,

Hopefully they’ll make a positive decision soon.

But my Facebook and Twitter has been growing cobwebs for years now. grin

Is the bolded even necessary?

Attaching refusal notes again? Mentioning that you have been refused in the past in your form or SOP is enough, they already have your refusal notes with them, so why uploading it again?

Peace

Teemenzo:

Please attach all previous refusals. Failure to do so could be termed as misinterpretation . Because whether you attach it or not, they will know. That's the purpose of info sharing. So not attaching it means you are not giving full details of the applicant and could result to a ban.

My opinion.

Good morning, house.
Please, can someone help with new web address of IOM? The one pasted here earlier seems not to be opening?
Secondly, all Q-life slots for March is filled up: what process can someone still secure dates with them in March?

Hello. Your best bet will be to send an email to IOM: iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int to request for an urgent medical booking. I contacted them for a date for my upfront medical and I got a response with an appointment the next day.

if you change institution outside canada that is before traveling you have to apply fro a fresh study visa. i think you should reach out to your school consider resuming late or something once you are in Canada you can consider changing institution without having to apply for fresh visa

Thanks. The school said I cannot defer but can only reapply for September...I don't know if there is any guarantee with reapplication hence the reason I was considering applying to other schools too, just to avoid another long story...Canada is so stressful, now I see why lots of people opt for UK...

In your application or via email, let the school know that you already have your visa approved for the program but had to reapply because the visa came late. Schools, particularly college, often prioritize students with visa because they are more certain they will likely attend.

I used Ethiopian airways on arrival at the airport in Abuja I was asked for my ticket print out my arrive can and Covid test with my passport. After that I went to get checked in, my bags were a little over weigh so I paid 50 dollars, then I got checked in normals.
Got to Ethiopia my layover was just 1hr not much but the security checks were a lot had to keep removing my shoe Mtchewww.
Then got into the plane and started a really long trip of 16hrs I almost ran mad
Finally reach Toronto went through one self declaration stuff just declare what you have scan passport answer some questions finish get your print out and head to one of the officials.
The official will ask what you have tell her she’ll write it down then you move on to study permit, now I’m upset about this part I had a list of the requirements made stupid copies guess what they only asked for the correspondence letter gave me my study permit and I was off to get my box, they didn’t waste my time at all . Got my box went to get tested for Covid then I was done
I now had an 8hr layover to my final destination I was hungry and tired
Got to Thunder Bay ah the cold is on press up oh it’s intense, cab services rubbish I sha got to my residence we thank God

Regrets
I wish I carried palm oil and more Yaji
I didn’t carry my cloths cause of excess luggage I’m really sad about it
The so called long layover wasn’t soo necessary I wish I used another airline the flight was too long

Pros
.I bought a lot of winter cloths if I didn’t I would have died
.I carried Indomie it saved my life

Cons
.Everything is just expensive food, cab but that one is there business they can’t discourage me oh
.If you have other options use another airline

Congratulations, Canada soil will favour.
I am coming by faith
