Depends on what you're coding. Front end web development na also coding o. Native app development na also coding. But any yeye system can be used for front-end web development.

You didn't tell us your stacks. If all you use is VS code, then you don't need much. If you're running emulator, then you should be concerned about graphics, RAM and processor.

Most core i3 are good enough. If you get core i5, better. Just try and avoid android studio.
